so bloody awesome indeed.

There's a lot to be happy about re: the future.

I know, I know, Dan Marino, 2015 Carolina Panthers blah blah blah.

I'm more inclined to think Dak follows footsteps of Brady, Ben and Wilson.
I hope so too but Brady Ben and Russell all had great/ascending defenses at the start of their runs.

You people are truly ridiculous. You spit out bromides as if they are cast in stone truth. So hopw does NE and Pitts and otjher teams at the top continue to do so?

They have a core of players that are playmakers.

I understand being disappointed, but some of this is bordering on pity.

Get a grip.

Well in fairness only NE really does this consistently. And they have arguably the greatest QB and head coach in NFL history. After Pittsburgh played in the 2010 SB, they were pretty much a dud until this year, either missing the playoffs or getting bounced early.

Bottom line football is the flukiest sport of any of them. If we played the Packers in a 7 game series I believe we'd win it, but it's one game. We started off slow and played catch up the entire time and now the team is planning vacations. NBA used to say "win or go home" not really you can lose 3 times and advance, NFL is really win or go home 1 loss and you're out.

Hey answer my question while I avoid the question. Cocka doodle doo.

I've explained it to you already. My question was a legit question. What is this chicken little routine you speak of. And then I offered up two other comments in the context of what people were talking about in the thread. That's the answer. You don't buy it or like it. Fine. We've reached an impasse. I am not sure what answer you are looking for here that will make you feel better.

For the 4th time. What did I predict this previous offseason?

You quoted a post that had nothing to do with you and then denied doing it on multiple occasions. You and I both know what you predicted. You spent the entire offseason tamping down any potential optimism because you thought they'd a have a bottom five defense. I don't really care but I'm loling cause you saw what I said and immediately attributed to yourself.

Actually, I said they'd win the East but get bounced in the playoffs because their pass rush wouldn't be good enough against a quality QB, much like 2014.

Seems I was more right than you probably were on this season. But since we doing this. You spent the offseason mocking and pissing on people that had serious reservations about the defense and the fact the offseason resulted in little change to our biggest need. And sure enough, we sit here tonight with a loss because that most glaring need that didn't get fixed this previous offseason cost us today.

Year to year League...gotta strike while the iron is hot because no one knows how good a team will be next season except New England.

As of tomorrow, time to start thinking of what needs to be done with the roster via free agency and the draft.

Very depressed myself. Ultimate failure. I did like the way Dak fought back however tonight. We just came out flat like we did against Detroit, but this was a playoff game. Had the offense not settled for field goals we would have won.

So, who's fault is that?

We just need a damn defense. That's all.
We had plenty of talent to win today, we just don't have a comprehensive leader. Good head coaching and healthy teams progress in the playoffs - we are about the healthiest team and had all the advantages of rest and home field status.. Our coaching and preparation sucked.

But our marketing team was outstanding.

And the Cowboys are the Cowboys. Some teams just can't get it done, and we have become that team.
