And Jackson is a 2nd round pick. Peppers will be a first rounder.

All but a handful on here also said Bosa's ceiling is somewhere around Greg Ellis is you're lucky. This board, like every other, has their darlings and their despised.

I don't bet people on the internet. But I suspect Peppers will be drafted before Jackson will.

Rueben Foster is considered one of the top defenders in this draft and he never recorded an INT, forced or recovered a fumble.

Don't feel like looking for it and I'm sure you don't care, but I've made a post questioning Foster's playmaking ability as well if makes you feel any better. I don't get the top 15 hype for a LB that doesn't make plays or isn't particularly great in coverage. But hey..just my opinion of course.
 
I love how this kid plays. The only negative I saw was that he occasionally lowers his helmet and led with the crown. Good way to draw penalties and/or get hurt. But he plays with a vengeance!

Jabrill Is a very smart player. He played 11 different positions and knew the playbook inside and out fully understanding the responsibilities of each position.

He is also a supremely gifted athlete. Coming out of high school he was the highest rated cornerback in the country and had his pick of where to go to college.

He is a playmaker and he could fill multiple roles.

I would play him at Safety but I would also occasionally get him involved in the offense. I would line him up at RB, H-back, and WR. Any way to create mis-matches and he would have to be accounted for anytime he is on the field and teams would have to game plan for him.

I would also use him as a KR in special situations. Not every time but kind of like we have done with Dez in the past. When we need a big return plug him in.

On defense he is a little raw at the safety position but I bet it wouldn't take long for him to get it down. He makes plays and that is what we need. Another playmaker.

Right off the bat he would make plays in multiple situations and he could grow to become that Darren Woodson type of safety we have long wanted.

I would love to see this guy flying around the field and he would be an exciting player to have.

He would fit right in with the new era of fun players like Dak and Zeke. He has that infectious attitude and he has that "it" factor.

I have mixed feelings about this player.

Yes, he is very athletic and looks terrific with the ball in his hands.

The NFL rarely utilizes 2-way type players in a significant way. In the 1st round you draft players based on their primary position with "other" abilities being a tie-breaker.

What is his NFL position? Probably SS but he has borderline size there. He is listed at 6-0, 205 but rumored to be less than 6-0. It would be terrific to have a SS that can cover athletic TEs when needed, but his lack of length might make that a problem. He looks really fast with the ball in his hands, but I've seen some plays where he struggled to keep up with WRs going deep. That's OK for a SS but it makes me curious about his exact speed. It would be nice to have him as an option on punt and kick returns but they tend to avoid having starters serve as full time returners.

Avoid highlight videos of any player unless that is all you can find. Full games are much better, but once you've watched the highlights it's hard to not be influenced by them.

I'm not advocating for taking him either. I'm just objecting to some of the reasoning folks are using to draw conclusions of him.

Rather draft Budda Baker in 2nd if looking for the next Tyrann Mathieu. Baker is better DB than either Peppers or Adoree Jackson.

Yes. Jackson isn't fragile so I don't get why he's brought up. Jackson is the same size as Janoris Jenkins, the guy who shut down our 6'2 all pro

He's also better returner/receiver than he is a corner. Not a shut down ball hawk like Janoris.

Adoree had 5 picks this year. More than any year Janoris played in college. His only bad game this year was against john Ross when he slipped and gave up a td. Other than that play Ross didn't do much. Jackson will easily be a better corner than Jenkins when it's all said and done.
