Zeke is a bad long term investment unless he turns out to be one of the best players at his position over the last 20 years AND stays healthy for a decade.
Staying healthy is
That's because Bell wants a long-term deal as the best back in football and the Steelers understandably don't want to pay him. He's also an injury risk (big surprise he plays RB) and he's also a knucklehead (hey another similarity to Zeke).
And the Steelers didn't have to spend the 4th overall pick in the dang draft. Shame.
This is true, when we spent the 4th overall pick on a RB we all new it was risky given the demands that position takes on the body.
But the Cowboys took that chance knowing they were gonna pair him with Romo and make a deep run into the playoofs (1 and done again) So what did we get? A rushing title behind this line that dont impress me.
Any starting RB in the league would get at least 1200 yds on this team.
If Zeke is generational player how come Garrett didnt shove him done Green Bays throat in the playoffs. There were multiple times on 3rd and short that Garrett selected a passing play
