And I'm saying they saw him in the preseason and in practice for most of the season and felt they could risk him to waivers, which means they didn't think that much of what they saw.
Saying the team screwed up is saying that Jackson is more than what he showed. Neither you nor I nor anyone else here can say that he is. I'm not marginalizing Jackson because there is no reason to. He is at the moment a marginal player, just like Dunbar ... except the team felt it had a use for Dunbar. (Again, I don't agree with that decision, but I'm not going to lament losing a marginal player.)
If he proves differently, then we can shout it from the mountaintop that the team screwed up. It's silly for us to be debating his worth right now.
