How's The Weather In Your Area?

It rained Wednesday of last week and I could hear the grass growing overnight.
The next day or two it was looking out of control and I kept telling myself...I will wait to Sunday.

By the time Sunday rolled around most of it was half burnt and the other was really dry and the mowing went pretty fast.

Although the heat was pretty up there and the humidity was not as bad as it will get....I was still pretty sweaty and tired.

After Mowing I got a dumb idea in my head to go out and wash the Car.

I think that was the worst idea I had in a long time.

Prior to going out and mowing I took a couple of tylenol for a headache and took a tramadol to try and keep my back from killing me while weedeating. And the only thing I had to eat was a couple pieces of crappy pizza from the night before.

Every time I bent over to scrub the bottom of the car I felt like I was going to throw up old nasty pizza lol.

Got done, took a shower...did not eat another thing the rest of the eveining...Only drank a large container of gatorade and a couple bottles of water.

I must have been more dehydrated than I realized as I did not urinate that evening, none during the night and I am used to getting up at least a couple times a night...and did not go to the bathroom in the morning. Actually I did not go until about 10:30 this morning at work and that was after drinking two cans of sprite zero lol.
Add some vodka to your Gatorade, you'll urinate just fine.

Very cool, breezy day here in SoCal. We've been very fortunate with low-mid 70's during the day and mid 60's at night the past few weeks. Just waiting for the heat to come. And then my weekly excursions to the beach will ensue :)

Still, miss my rain :(

Oh no. Like the beer thread, no more "likes". Thank you boys for all those previous likes. Rainy and humid today in PA. Good day to stay in and catch up on the Zone. Have a great weekend! :D

Here I Northern CA we had an unseasonably rainy winter and spring but we needed the water to contend with the drought the last 4 yrs. Now we are going into 7 straight days of 105-112 degrees weather. Just trying to keep cool.

Ugh, that's a very long time dealing with the heat. And I'm going to complain about the humidity today AND it's going to the upper 90's, close to 100'. Which is very unusual for the Northeast.

That is unusual for the Northeast but as they say up there if you don't like the weather, wait a minute, it'll change.

Humidity is horrible!!!

I'll take 110 and dry over 90 and 60+ humidity any day of the week, Coach. :)

I've been in 125. And in a turret that was 140. Holy hell that was hot. With damn flies sticking to my arms. LOL
Same here.
Sticky humidity is nasty
