He has broken Bill Parcells QB Commandment #11.

11. Don’t be a celebrity QB – we don’t need any of those. We need battlefield commanders that are willing to fight it out, every day, every week and every season and lead their team to win after win after win.

This. This is not good.

Not concerned with Dak, by all accounts he has been putting in the work at the star and away from the star. This time of year is the last portion of free time before they head to Oxnard. I love BP but he is not exactly a QBing guru. His back ground has always been on defense. NY did not win championships because of Simms, it was LT and that NY defense.

There is a lot of pressure on QB and even more so on being a Dallas QB, getting some time away from it all in my view is good

Not sure if this is sarcasm or not, maybe it is, but if not, what kind of clown calls out a man as being a 'celebrity' for promoting awareness of an organisation that supports cancer research? You can't even call it charity for promotions sake given his personal experience. Gross.

Parcells was talking about being like Joe Nameth. Wearing the fur coats, dating every starlet you can find, constantly out drinking, etc.

Dak was promoting cancer research, like many others have mentioned. That just doesn't fall under the same category.

In fact, I think NFL players have to work with and promote a charity. If they don't absolutely have to... then it is strongly recommended by the league.

In June, most NFL players are sitting on a beach with their entourage and a bunch of drunk girls in bikinis. To be concerned about Dak being on a morning show talking about a cancer research charity is either the height of lunacy or simply looking for problems where there are none.

Some of you guys are too funny.

First we have to tell people to "tap the brakes" on Dak's induction to the HOF based on his performance in his rookie year, now we've got another group we've got to warn to "tap the brakes" for believing in his impending collapse due to showing up on a TV show.

How's about we play out the season before we decide which brakes to tap?

Prescott will be a solid QB. It would be interesting to bring in his College Coach to further his education. It seems to me that he came to Dallas with great football fundamentals and instincts. My only fear is that Wilson and Garrett will set his progress back. I could be completely off base but his Coaching will decide how he progresses.
