LOL everyone knows that "stat" is bogus. It's wildly inflated by TWO specific players.

It may be inflated by Gregory and McClain, but fact is that we have 100 games lost due to suspension since 2014, most in the league, 47 more than the next team behind us. We have third most in the league since 2002, well before Gregory and McClain came along.

Way too early to come to a rational conclusion about this incident. Not enough info. Not everything is what is seems, and we all know early reporting by media is usually garbage.

Hopefully Jaylon makes this a non-issue

Wilson being out of the equation does not really affect Smith at all. Wilson would be a part-time starter at SAM, would come off the field on third downs. Smith will try to go in the middle.

You have to think that they would prefer to have Hitchens in the middle as a reserve rather than starting on the strong side and have to provide insurance in case Smith is not ready or is limited.

Wilson might not have been a great player, but it does make the whole group even more weak and dangerously thin in terms of depth.

Name one excuse I gave. No excuses necessary. Every team has off the field incidents. Every team has its share of knuckleheads. The Cowboys are just more high profile.

Did you make the same arguments about coaches not being responsible when Wade was HC?
I don't think so

I was under the impression that Wilson was the SAM now, but would be also in the MLB hunt due to his athleticism. We really haven't seen what he can do, and some were higher on him being more than a SAM.

Hitchens certainly isn't the answer at starting Mike. Solid backup, but not a starter. Was hoping Wilson would push him down the depth chart if Jaylon wasn't ready and Wilson balled.

Looks like it's all moot now.

You grab a rifle over a parking spot?
It's this stupid "being disrespected" mentality that seems to grip guys like this.

Aaron Herandez supposedly executed 2 people over a spilled drink at a nightclub. He was disrespected apparantly. Therefore you kill them.

So if somebody takes what you think is your parking spot? You've been disrespected. Time to pull out your automatic rifle.

It's all so stupid.

He is not looking for an excuse YOU gave...he came in with a case of whiplash looking for any EXCUSE for HIM to bash on Jason and or the FO.

Yep, the person saying that the owner and HC should provide discipline and accountability is wrong

The overreaction on this forum over this incident is stupefying. We don't even know exactly what happened and folks are reacting like it's a bygone conclusion he won't play this year and even if he did not play, the impact on this defense is marginal. Folks need to relax and stop with the chicken little act. It's an unfortunate turn of events but it will all work out for the best. Let's wait and reserve castigation for when we have proper information on the circumstances.

Bill Bellicheck had a player go off gangland style and kill someone.
Jimmy Johnson had players doing coke with hookers at the white house and players doing stuff in the locker room that would get them fired for sexual harassment.
Tom Landry had a child molester on his team.

Can we stop with the idiotic talk that only a weak discipline coach would have these types of players on the team and Disciplinarian coaches would not.

Some Grown men are grown men and do dumb stuff no matter who their coach is and trying to twist it to the coaches fault is nothing more than finding some lame excuse to blame the coach.

It is not even about a spot being stolen. If the reports are correct, he actually asked to take a spot from tailgaters and argument ensues and he still tries to take the spot and hits a person, then gets a weapon when things get heated. If any of it is true, it was a completely moronic and unreasonable reaction that you cannot excuse.
