Tropical Storm / Hurricane Harvey

One of the news stations here got knocked off air due to flooding. They were on air when they had to evacuate due to water rising into the station. They're still active on social media, but they can no longer broadcast from the station.

Bayou in my area flooded badly and folks had to be rescued and boated out. I'm fortunate that only what amounts to a gallon of water came in the house. There's a bit of a lull. So it'll allow the water to go down some before the next wave of rain.

God bless and good luck. What part of Houston are you at?

Anyone have an ETA on the airports opening again? Might be a bit of an issue getting back home this week. Might just have to stay in New Orleans, sure would hate to see that. Doubt they have enough Knob Creek to tide me over..

I think Tuesday, tomorrow night at the earliest. It will be limited though. I am going to fly into SA and drive to Houston.

You too but a lot of rain is headed that way. I thought maybe NO as well.
I dont have much choice there, I will hit land in Port Fourchon, La. Closest thing for me is NO. I am heading to Lufkin, though, so I am hoping I can get to Laffayette and go North on 49 then over to Toledo Bend and up the back way. Might be a fool's errand though.

Have you seen pics of hobby airport? The runways are under water. Lol
No ma'am, I hadn't innerwebs are pretty slow here, so I try to avoid many pictures. IF and that is a big IF, I do get to fly in, it will be George Bush though. I rarely fly into Hobby, because it adds a good bit of time to my trip.
