Out of all the opinions that are anti flag kneeling (and there are some good ones) this is the absolute dumbest. You are essentially saying mistreatment is ok because of your income. A wife should accept domestic abuse because her husband pays all the bills. Give me a freaking break. So I guess you have to be broke to speak out about what you feel is systematic mistreatment. This speaks more to your jealousy of athlete income than anything else.
lol, If that is what you got from my post your bubble is a little off center....I never mentioned anything regarding DV, and where you got that is an unkown.
I'm a veteran and don't understand or agree with the method of his agenda that kneeling during the anthem in front of a national TV audience is the way to do it. We have much more pressing issues in this country than the agenda of a spoiled overpaid below avg QB.

And my point is you unnecessarily brought up " millions" of dollars. The amount of money the athletes make, the amount of money you make, or the amount of money that anybody makes, is irrelevant to how anyone should feel about the issue at hand.

Where did you find the racial demographics of the Cleveland PD? I searched and couldn't find that.
Well, if I had the demographics and actually gave a flying crap what they exactly were, I would've posted them.
Was just stating the obvious; that a major city's police force is obviously racially diverse.

Are you actually stating otherwise, or just trying to argue for no reason?
What was the point if your statement?

-----
Just wasted a minute to appease...
2013 stats...again, as if it matters
52% white
48% non-white

5,557 African Americans in the Cleveland PD.

I have no idea what argument you're trying to make. The officers simply said they won't participate in the ceremony since the organization and some players want to be disrespectful to the flag and first responders. I don't know why that's so hard to understand.

Full circle.
True.
Both parties have the right. And neither has to agree with what the other is doing.

The kneeling started with Kap--who was also parading around in Cops as Pigs socks. So that was a direct slam on cops.
Why can't everyone just play football, respect America and everything that represents the greatest country in the freaking world! It's the baddest, best, most powerful, influential, freedom loving society in the modern world.

For starters, Kaep isn't black. And his parents who adopted him are white and currently disgraced at their son. Secondly, they're doing it on the NFL platform and NOT outside of the public. The ones checking their phones, going to the bathroom, buying beer or stepping outside, sure aren't kneeling at the symbol of freedom. Plus a lot of fans, including myself, are getting very tired of the ignorance carried on by these NFL players.

Let them do this on their time away from the NFL, not the fans time who wish to get away from all this political crap and enjoy a game. Nothing is more disrespectful then kneeling at our national anthem, that's just what I was taught/learned growing up. Maybe the one's kneeling or the one's agreeing to this entire ordeal weren't taught about our flag, who knows.

Any true minded American will agree to that. What's even worse, Tim Tebow being taunted for kneeling while praying. God is more powerful then the American Flag, but yet Tebow & any other player who did the same, was bullied over it. Double standard don't you think?!

You're the one that trapped yourself, don't get mad at me.

You claim it doesn't matter why anyone protests during the sanctity of the anthem, in an attempt to seem like you're taking a hard line on anyone making any statements during the anthem, including taking a knee to bring awareness to cancer.

Then turn around and say there's nothing wrong with cops making a statement by refusing to participate in the national anthem flag ceremony.

But no, you're right, let's talk about how my logic is the one that's flawed.

You seem to want to change the narrative during our discussion. If you want to compare cancer awareness with disrespecting the national symbol, then that's on you. You're defending a guy who's taking a stand against social injustice while wearing a Fidel Castro t-shirt. You can't even see how ridiculous your stance looks.

And you can't seem to understand that the cops are not required to participate. It's not even comparable so I don't know why you want to compare the two. Why would anyone participate in an event where they are being criticized by the players with the consent of the organization?
