They'll take all the time they want so they can try and prepare a case. But this is a big loss for the league office.

Nothing is absolute in the law, but man it's looking bad for the league. How are they going to argue to overcome what the judge has already characterized as egregious misconduct? They'll have to pull something out of their ***.

They're lucky that the Brady case hinged on notice. This was a straight railroading, and the judge agreed. Going to be hard for them to try and somehow prove at trial that it was fair.

The Brady case made Goodell more arrogant. Thinks he can do anything he wants with no consequences. Go ahead owners. Give him a 5 year extension. 5 more years of making you all look like fools. It's going to bite you in the end.

I notice all the major reports of Goodell's "imminent" signing of an extention have somehow come to a screetching halt. Those were a month ago.
