What was the exact quote from JG? Dak deserves a share of the game, but doesn't the quote reference the passing attack as opposed to specifically QB play?

To me, passing attack is a broader concept that encompasses QB, O-line, WRs, play design, and play calling. Add in the fact that a run game and pass game compliment each other.

Dak wasn't great, but ain't the only one under that bus.

You are simply putting quotes around words. These are clearly not words spoken by Garrett.

This isn't hard to figure out. Embarrassing

Holy crap! The public school system has failed this youngster... lol
He quoted the whole article. It's sad, in a hilarious kind of way.

Teams are going to play single coverage against the Cowboys all year now. It's gonna be tough sledding against teams with good CBs.

Peterson on Dez and Honey badger on Beasley next week.

I'll absolutely take H.B. on Beasley ALL day.

From the MSN article:

"After the Cowboys first loss of the season, head coach Jason Garrett placed the blame squarely the passing game."

"There were more than a few things that could be pointed to as reasons why the Cowboys were not victorious. Garrett took aim at Prescott."

"Frustration was obviously high after the loss. With that said, Jason Garrett can still surely expect to be asked to elaborate on his comments throughout the upcoming week."

And Clarence Hill tweeted the same thing.

So are you implying both MSN and Clarence Hill are lying? Do you know how to read?

Which of those direct quotes specifically reference Dak? The closest thing is Hill's reference to "the passing game". It is Clarence Hill who turns that into a direct shot at Dak.

No, he didn't "throw Dak under the bus."

LOL. You people are why sensational, BS headlines exist.
Nah, man we just believe in conspiracy theories (what?).

I just have to laugh. It's pretty obvious MSN sourced their story from Hill's tweet. Which explains why they match.

Say what you want but here is the truth. We were one dropped Witten pass from putting up 24 points on the Broncos D with 0 rushing yards and Dak running for his life all day. One int went right through Dez bryants hands. I think all things considered Dak did ok. This loss is squarely on the oline and the defense period.

Why didn't Garrett devise better routes for Dez to run, than the same old routes he always runs? Why not use him in crossing routes, or some comeback routes. Duh. How about getting Switzer on the field with Beasley. Why don't the reportesr bring that up with Garrett. Did they, I didn't watch the press conference. I am pissed we aren't using Switzer. Why did we draft him then, for only kr/pr duties?
It won't really matter who is running or receiving when your o-line gets whipped "consistently" and for four quarters. The Broncos are simply a better team right now...on offense and especially defense. Elliot ending up with 8 yards rushing indicates offensive line dysfunction of a high order...the type of thing that we should hope not to see again this year. I was never a fan of taking Collins out of the interior line...and it certainly appears that there might be some trouble in that area. IMO right tackle is not as important as being able to dominate from guard to guard. A consistently potent running game demands it. That said, I will wait and see what they do against Green Bay before I get the fire hose.

They are a better team with 2 of our best pass rushers out (Irving & Moore), our starting MLB out Hambrick, our starting CB out Scandrick, and 2 of our CB's leaving the game in the 2nd quarter. Their qb had a field day because we had no one in the secondary to make up for those losses. We abandoned the run. 9 carries for Zeke. They didn't respect the run, why would they. Nothing creatve about the run game. Most all of Zeke's runs were up the middle and their d was already in the backfield because our OL didn't do their part. I am guessing TWills ankle did bother him, since he didn't do anything in the game. Dez was terrible. Wouldn't run any other route than the sideliine down the field ones. He never came back to the ball, never ran any crossing routes. Coaches are much to blame for their lack of creativity and not using Switzer and Beasley in the game at the same time. We dressed 6 wr's. Yet didn't use them.

Always someone else’s fault. Dak played awful but the whole team did and why did the team abandon the running game so fast? That's on the coaches. We are a power running team not a passing team.

JG is right, your QB has to make their defense pay for loading the box, instead he lacked the confidence to challenge their secondary. Their play the same defensive scheme on 1st and 2nd downs, Dak looked more similar to Brandon Weeden than himself, 90% of his 3rd down passes where behind the first down marker, that's pretty pathetic.
You are correct.
The part we don't know watching on tv is if he was correct to not force it downfield. Dez isn't a speed guy and if they were rolling safeties his way you don't throw that. I don't know if Butler or T Will were open downfield against pro bowl CB's. plus when a team is crashing the box they are making the pocket uncomfortable more often than not. We were just beat in every aspect of the game.

It's not like the colts did this to us. The Broncos are called no fly zone for a reason. They are now 20-1 at home in September since 2000. They have made many great offenses look bad in that stadium. We will make adjustments I hope and learn from this.

After watching the film Dak will see if he missed opportunities down field. He is a smart kid and a second year QB. He will get there..

I keep seeing people saying Dak should have thrown over the top of that defense.
Who was open deep?
The only receiver I saw get open downfield was witten and he dropped a sure touchdown.
No one fears the speed of these receivers. Why would a db worry about getting beat deep with this group?

Love the Doors btw...GOAT. U got me with Hambrick, tell me I'm having a nightmare pls!

Let's all just hope that we can put up 30+ points next week and put this one bad game in the history trash bin, if not then we may have all made some bad assumptions which would be devastating to this franchise/fan base. Dak needs a stellar game next week, Garrett is somewhat right here. Yesterday Denver was loading the box, u have to get them out of that by beating them tru the air which we did not do at all. I agree that Switzer needs to be on the field, he and Beasley are a tough cover and should consistently move the chains. None of our other receivers are capable of getting lost in the secondary, but Beese and Switz should be.

This all pretty much falls on Dak at this point, he needs to be able to prove that he can take advantage of loaded up boxes, if not then I fear that we are all so screwed this year.
