What are we protesting again?

The media has their good-time-fun-toy, and football will never be about football ever again.

I'm about ready to pull the plug for good.
Racial inequality and police brutality. Whether you think it's unfounded or not, those are noble things to protest peacefully for. The players' hearts are in the right place.

There was protesting in Charlottesville too. Too bad our president came down MUCH harder on NFL players than he did on white supremacists.

"Stick to sports" isn't an option for many of these players right now, and I can't blame them for it. And I'm someone who absolutely LOATHED the Kaepernick stuff last year.

Maybe the NFL players should have bought tiki torches

That's such a miniscule piece of this.

Well, when I leave, so do the advertisers. I actually buy those BMWs and Cadillacs in the commercials, invest through those brokerages, buy season tickets, etc.

If it stops being about football, I leave. And those $1 million salaries go back to 1980s levels. The players are ultimately shooting themselves in the foot.

The NFL is dying. Won't be here in 10 years. Enjoy while you can.

Then what are these brain-dead players going to do for a living?

If you left this board no one would care or notice. The NFL definitely doesn't care if you leave

No offense, you're a cool guy, but you're one guy.

Oh yes, they do. I contribute tens of thousands of dollars every year to the NFL and their advertisers. Most do not.

This is the first year I ever got a personal call from the Cowboys (and I won't say who, but he's rather big time there) after buying my season tickets. They are worried.

Unarmed African Americans being killed by the police. Please do unplug if it hurts your feelings.
Just because someone was unarmed does not mean lethal force is not justifiable. So, to quote you, please do unplug if that hurts your feelings.

Season ticket owner? Sorry dude, there are 100 people waiting for your spot. This is the Dallas Cowboys, the most valuable American sports team.

Uh, it's usually not justifiable. Almost never, honestly.

The president did not come down harder on nfl players than white supremacists.

He simply refused to side with the anarchists and communists who marched against white supremacists. A sentiment I share, as both groups of people there were hateful anti-American zealots.

So it’s only one race being killed by police? Gotcha.

I would rather protest the fact that blacks are killing other blacks at an alarming rate.

Or maybe we should protest Asians since they are, by far, the ethnicity with the lowest rate of killings by police. Obviously it's a master plan by Asians to kill off the rest of the races in this country.

Because millionaires entirely removed from the plight of the average African-American kneeling during the anthem is going to stop police from shooting black people. That's some airtight logic.

Those getting worked up over the protests need to get over it, but that doesn't make the protests any less nonsensical.

LOL! Thanks for joining us on CZ, Mr. President!

Pssst... your 2nd sentence contradicts your 1st sentence.

Lol listen to yourself dude. You’re arguing about people being killed. Even in a hypothetical your email arguing on behalf of lethal force. At what point does human decency kick in and for just a second you see things from the perspective of someone else. Especially when the stakes are what they are. People are DYING. Humsn brings, mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, brothers, sisters and you want to argue the semantics of “unarmed doesn’t mean lethal force is not justifiable”. Sickening
