4 tackles -3 assists

are they counting the ones where he just about makes the tackle

or when he is standing there watching some one else make the tackle

You don't draft a guy that high to hope he might one day be good. It was an awful, awful pick.

Um, yeah, that's exactly why you draft a guy that high.

Trolls will troll. Same folks were saying he'd never see the field. Now it's "he won't be great." Sorry guys. Jaylon is playing meaningful games and leading the team in tackles. He has a lot to improve on in reacting to the play, and making stops closer to the line of scrimmage, but if you think other teams have backup middle linebackers better than him, you don't watch football. Jaylon was never meant to play this much this early. For him to be successful out there, for him to be contributing to the team as a first-year backup, is astonishing and exactly what we hoped. When you redshirt a guy, you hope he's starting by year 3. Jaylon is on his way.

I love Dak. Too early to judge Taco. Jaylon was a poor mans Bruce Carter, considering he injury.

Edit: That's why most teams took him off their board. I'll eat crow if I'm wrong. Will you?

Why is everyone who isn't naively supportive a troll? Don't be lazy.

Yeah. Until the career threatening injury--which is why most of the league took him off of their board.
Which is supposed to get to 100% at some point during the year. He may take 10-12 games to get his confidence fully back, but who writes a guy off after three games? So weird. Like you want him to fail just so you can claim 'told you so'

Who is writing him off? That's a straw man. A premium pick should be helping the team by now. He's not. I hope he's 100% by the end of the season. But I'm not counting on. Would you be willing to bet on it?
