Which is supposed to get to 100% at some point during the year. He may take 10-12 games to get his confidence fully back, but who writes a guy off after three games? So weird. Like you want him to fail just so you can claim 'told you so'

You guys love straw men. We all want him to dominate. Some of us are capable of separating what we want to happen from what we think will happen.

"Blind loyalty--or you're pathetic." - Mental giants

Take a hike. What did you expect the guy comes back and lights it up? Seriously do you know what kind of courage, determination it took this young man to come back from this devastating injury. He has already exceeded my expectations. It will take time but to say he will never ever be the same, get lost you and the rest of the idiots on here.

Imagine our offense with Tyreek Hill, Michael Thomas, or even Sterling Sheperd.

I didn't expect anything more than what he's shown. Which is why I wouldn't have drafted him, Einstein.

Who is writing him off? That's a straw man. A premium pick should be helping the team by now. He's not. I hope he's 100% by the end of the season. But I'm not counting on. Would you be willing to bet on it?
You're expecting a rookie linebacker who hadn't played in 20 months to make an impact in three games? Maliek Collins, Zeke and Anthony Brown didn't do much of note in their first three games, but all impressed by the end of their rookie campaigns. I'm guessing you thought they were 'straw men' too, or whatever that means

No. Which is why he was the wrong pick.

Based on pay, Jaylon Smith is not a rookie. You don't get to draft a guy who won't contribute in a meaningful way until year 3, and use that as an excuse, like it was unexpected.

It's you, clearly. But tell me about critical thinking and all of that.

I always find it interesting what people hold onto. It's must've been months since I said that to you and here you are holding onto it. How cute.

I get that you feel the need to double down on Jaylon now that he is not only playing but starting to play the season. God forbid you were wrong on a player. I just think it's funny that you choose now to say it when he was second on the team in tackles, got good depth in his drops, and played mistake free football.

He is still knocking off rust after a long layoff and healing up but he is improving from game to game. But hey go ahead and keep on with your generalities and avoid talking about how he is playing when he is out there. I know several people laughing at you fumbling around on the topic.
