Dak has had like 5+ INT's drop this season and a bunch that were dropped last season, so let's not say he doesn't turn over the ball.

Yes his recievers and he aren't on the same page with their routes. But he isn't the reason we lost. Zeke has been just as off as Dak in terms of his quallity of play and his production compared to last year.
Idk I always assume running backs just run. Like a fumble or missed assignment is definitely poor play and coming in chunky is bad character. But a qb can make one of many mistakes on every single play. His play varies more than anyone

Anyone think we should go to the read option more often? With our slot wr's and the jet sweep there's tons of good matchups there

I think we should use read option differently. We should run it with more jet sweep actions and misdirections to stretch the field horizontally and then set up big vertical pass plays. That is if we can get the pass protection for it.

I also think we need more deep pass plays setup from under center.

I think it's one of the big misconceptions in the game...scoring drives with a lot of plays required isn't really a good thing because if you have to continue to have 13+ play drives in order to score TD's, sooner or later a player will screw up and stall drives.

We are not able to stretch the field like we were last year with bootlegs and then going over the top. Now it's mostly shotgun plays with 5 blocking and you're not getting the time we were last year to throw the ball. This is where I always respected Joe Gibbs' thinking...if he wasn't getting pass protection he was unafraid to add in extra blockers. Today's coaches are allergic to that concept.

Ahhh, and there it is. The ugly truth rears its head just two pages into this thread. Another jilted Romosexual pining for their hero, taking any opportunity they can to bash Dak.

Romo is gone. It's over. Move on.
It appears to me all the Romo haters don't care if Prescott struggles and the Cowboys lose as long as Romo is no longer leading the team.

If this game is Dak's fault with having 30 points, than that Denver game was Romo's fault. Even though the Defense played awful like they did in this game.

It appears to me that Romo is retired and any Romo haters vs. Romo lovers arguments are irrelevant at this point.

Dak is our QB. Period.

This is something else I forgot to mention, Dak nearly threw a pick 6 but the ball got batted at the line. Another one dropped as well.

We are Romo fans, CB fans period. But you guys treat Romo like he had no flaws. That ONLY Dak can have a bad game, but Romo throws 32 ints his 1st 2 seasons as a starter, and that isn't brought up when discussing Dak's 1st 20 games in the NFL.

You started the Romo lovers v. haters argument, but I will say Prescott needs to step if he "is our QB. Period."

You're saying either go short or go long? Dont try to move the sticks quite as methodically? I like it and I think mcfadden could have a role there as well

I like the idea. And when we go deep I really want them to take shots. Dez isn't consistent and may be kinda heavy But he doesn't mess around when it comes to jump balls.

Actually, no, I didn't. Reading would be your friend. I was responding to others who brought Romo into this thread.

That’s fine, time to look to the future it is not Dak. Romo is done move on. Time to look at the draft

Did you say Romo was done after throwing 32 ints his 1st 2 seasons as a starter and that we should look to the draft for his replacement as you want with Dak? Highly doubt that.
