just have to keep in mind what is at stake here and ultimately what Zeke is fighting for

i know if it was me i would explore every legal avenue available to clear my name from Domestic Violence, that is something that will follow you around the rest of your life

Exactly...

Quit fighting this fight...then he is labled a wife beater the rest of his career.

People need to keep this in mind in all this....The NFL is looking for redemption from the Ray Rice debacle. And they don't care who they smear as long as they look tough on domestic violence.

Right or wrong...that is what is being played out here.

Agree
And it’s not just about zeke but all players
This is more about the process that guilt or innocence
The NFLPA is really fighting the process and on that issue they have a good argument
As for guilt or innocence it’s obvious zeke in a fair hearing would be cleared
He has done a few immature things but this hole complaint was about getting the gold, not justice

Honestly, I'm to the point of just wanting to let Zeke serve the suspension and get it over with. Its going to be hard for him to focus with this hanging over his head and watch him get suspended at the tail end of the season when we are making a playoff push.

On the other hand, I'm for fighting it since the nfl hasn't come out with any real evidence to show he is guilty and he would be in a situation where he could face a lifetime ban for something he didn't do.

Not to be rude, but no one cares if you've had enough. The cowboys are backing Zeke in this appeal, that's all that matters.

If Zeke just accepts the suspension like you want, he's one career threatening injury away from losing all his guaranteed money, because he loses it all with even one game suspension. Not to mention the millions he'll lose in endorsements. And it's just straight BS that the NFL can just ignore facts, give any sort of suspension and hide behind 'you don't have a choice because of the CBA'

The dumbest thing about this whole thing, is that this was all completely and easily avoidable.

If the NFL would just appoint an ACTUAL INDEPENDENT arbitrator to hear all appeals, than it would be fair for everyone.

Instead Goodell wanted to maintain absolute power over everything. Like a moron.

In a worthless year & might be suspended in '18

Maybe- but I would fight it as well if I were him. This was a railroad job from day one and if he/his team has the opportunity to litigate this in a courtroom I believe he has a real shot at winning. This is NOT the Brady case.

Cuban is right in over-saturating and over-exposing the market place. As I've said a million times, boxing and baseball used to be the top sports in this country and have fallen completely in the past 30 years. Why the NFL thinks they would be different is just the height of pure arrogance from the owners. The NFL has a lot of problems and you really need a good commissioner that can see the trees and forest and then the forest from the trees to prevent this. Roger the Rube is completely lost and is too arrogant to admit so. At least Jerry has questioned why are they paying this buffoon so much.

To me, the owners have got caught looking at the glare of a puppet commissioner who works against the players union and allowed the owners to con the players out of the short term money. They have forgotten that repercussions will be greater down the road with an inevitable strike year in 2021 which will cost them a ton of money, the failure to address waning attendance due to crazy ticket prices and more affordable home theater technology, the entire anthem protesting, etc.

What the owners needed was a genuine leader as the commissioner. Not some lying, power hungry doofus from the PR department that is in way over his head.

I vote for Condoleezza Rice. Heard she wanted the job.

I don’t disagree with Zeke’s intentions to fight for his innocence. I just wish the team didn’t have to pay such a heavy price. In fact, I would argue that it has become such a distraction, that his career in Dallas may be ruined. I’m sure I stand on an island on this, but if I were the Cowboys organization, I would consider trading him. Not just because of this issue, but the accumulation of issues that Zeke has had during his time in Dallas. For being such a difference maker last year, he’s making a difference of a different kind this season. Yes I do believe that Zeke’s problems have become a team distraction and this is contributing to the 2-3 record.

NFL is done, toast good night, in the end Zeke gets 0.
With all due respect, you're wrong. Zeke will serve the 6 games per the CBA, it's just a matter of when. Once all the appeals are exhausted, he'll miss 6 games.
