Let's not forget the price for Wentz (2-1st, a 2nd, a 3rd & two players)

It's not about undermining or downplaying anything. It's about you Wentz the Bedders shoehorning your obsession with him into every thread on the Cowboyzone. Go ahead, give them credit, but keep it in the NFLZone where it belongs. Better yet, keep it in the Eagles forum that you all belong to.

LOL.

The best pet of this whole Wentz thing is watching some of you lose your poop and fly off the handle constantly every time his name is mentioned.

It's downright priceless.

The loss of draft picks doesn't seem to be hurting them.

In reality all they lost were a couple of 2nd round picks and a third rounder. They got their first back when they traded Bradford.

Philly throws a bomb in the middle of the "we have to build slowly, it's the only way to win" crowd here that makes excuses for the FO over and over for personnel failures.

And I noticed how the Bradford trade was not mentioned when discussing the "Wentz cost". Selective.

Credit where credit is due, they've made an amazing turnaround from Kelly's numerous mistakes.

And that absolute beat down of the team that gave the Cowboys and absolute beat down was impressive.

They will be a huge hurdle to try to overcome twice this year.

Anyone who wants to look foolish trying to undermine or downplay what they've accomplished is free to do so.
Denver = Not the same team we played. Nor was the game in Denver.

Chiefs beat Iggles. We beat the Chiefs.

You said it was free.

Wentz is certainly playing well but they have had a cake schedule too. First tough game the have played vs Chiefs they lost. If we beat the Falcons this week, it will be a very interesting game vs the Eagles the following week. We beat them and we are only one game away from taking over the division. We have 3 very winnable games after the Eagles game too.

Seattle was the swing game on the Eagles schedule. I figured that was a sure loss. Now after the Skins beat them there, I am not so sure.

And in the end, we may need Philly to beat Seattle for WC purposes.

And this game wasn't in Kansas City.

Quit making excuses. Bow down to Wentz.

One thing I've learned is just let them talk. They will embarrass themselves and win the argument for you.

Could someone please tell me again that Wentz sucks? Can't throw down field. Everything's dink and dunk. Etc.

But Denver dominated us and eagles beat them like a drum

So what is your point?

My point is that you can never compare teams by how they did against other opponents. It rarely has a correlation. Especially when it is this far apart.Home versus away. Mile high stadium effect.there record their was unbelieveable at the beginning of the season

you wouldn't give up a handful of Bobby Carpenters, back up TE's and whatever busts we pick in the 3rd for a Franchise QB?

No the best part of this is when I post something about the Wentz the Bedders, all the WTB'ers reply to it, thus exposing themselves for the closet Eagles fans that they are.

Eagles cleaned up Chip Kelly’s mess in a hurry, and other Week Nine thoughts

It wasn’t even two years ago that the Eagles fired Chip Kelly, an alleged offensive guru who had saddled them with a bunch of overpaid and underperforming offensive players. It’s remarkable how quickly they’ve cleaned up his mess.

Philadelphia, which put up 51 points on a very good Denver defense on Sunday, is now 8-1 and the best team in the NFL. That’s mostly due to its stellar offense, and what’s remarkable about that offense is how completely it has been rebuilt since the departure of Kelly, who spent three years as the Eagles’ coach and also had final say over personnel in his final year. Bad personnel moves can put a team in a salary cap hole that takes a long time to dig out of, but Eagles General Manager Howie Roseman and coach Doug Pederson have done it quickly.

The big move, of course, was at quarterback. Not everyone was sold on Carson Wentz coming out of North Dakota State last year, but the Eagles were. They traded two of Kelly’s favorite defensive players, Kiko Alonso and Byron Maxwell, to move up in the first round of the draft, then traded that first-round pick, another first-round pick, a second-round pick and a third-round pick to Cleveland to get the second overall pick in the 2016 NFL draft. That’s the pick they used to get Wentz.

The problem with this rebuild strategy (as we've experienced before) is that the teams that do this will either have cap problems or depth problems -- usually both.

This will bite them soon.

Philly got lucky that Bridgewater went down with a season ending injury otherwise the Vikings wouldn't have been so desperate to give up so much for Bradford as a QB and Philly couldn't have somewhat recouped what they lost for Wentz.
