Let's not forget the price for Wentz (2-1st, a 2nd, a 3rd & two players)

If you find an elite quarterback, any price is worth it.

Yep, showed last night in the Green Bay game. 24-1 in the last 25 versus Detroit at home and they lost. And yet, fans abuse the Cowboys coaches for the 2015 season. You can't win in the NFL without a good QB, unless you have a dominant Defense. Qb makes all the difference. Bad teams with a great QB are playoff contenders every year. Look at Indy without Luck - just terrible

I look at it this way:
They have equal stats, same average TDs per game, Wentz is averaging 21 yards more, but Dak is turning it over less...wash.
Dak 4th rd pick
Wentz number 2 pick, cost additional picks/players...advantage Dallas.
Dallas is paying late 4th rd money to Dak.
Wentz is getting #2 pick money...advantage Dallas.

Dallas invested less to get Dak and have money to spend elsewhere because of it, couple that with through a season and a half Dak has better stats, and this year their stats are virtually even despite Wentz getting MVP hype and Dak getting none.

The article is really not that accurate. The 2 players in the deal were a salary dump, not a loss. Both were terrible, but the Eagles needed Relief and the Dolphins were dumb enough to assist. After it was all said and done the Eagles never lost a first round pick. They traded picks and recouped a 1 and 3 in the Bradford trade. I believe Philly ended up giving a 2, 3, and 4 for a franchise QB. The compensation was spread over multiple years so they only lost 1 draft pick each year.. The Bradford trade was key getting a first-round pick, and a 3rd. Their GM did a fantastic job getting Wentz for practically nothing

it cost a 2nd and a 3rd in the end . Howie pulled some major magic with the whole thing . Eagles cap wont be so bad next year as they were still hit with some from Bradford and Daniels maybe a couple others as well.

Thank you, I know it was a ridiculously low amount after it was all said and done. They had their full complement of draft picks last year.

Amazing how fast the Eagles got out of that hole. They will be a contender for years to come. Book it.
