What I don't get is..how are these guys around Lee this long and don't develop any football IQ or know how to read plays? At least with Bruce Carter he was average where without Lee we would be worse off marginally but nothing like this. We need big LB's again.

LBers are definitely a priority either in FA or the draft.

Definitely need another bell cow at LB, no doubt. Lee will still be here, as he should. Other LBs are average like Hitchens or trash like Smith

I think we have to draft a linebacker and transition Lee into coaching.

I seen this too. Terrible MLB. He needs to be move to SLB or WLB but we continue to just play him at MLB. He hurts our defense more than he helps it. The guy is terrible. Can't cut. Can't read a play develope. LB Justin March-Lillard should get the start over him just to see what we have. Can he possibly play worst than smith?

We need to find his replacement.

Problem is finding someone with his smarts, vision and talent isn't an easy task.
Cause, we need to find that perfect linebacker cause Lee is the guy who holds that back 7 together.

Lee can't stay healthy for crap but he's way more than solid..he's a HOF talent in a glass cannon body. Our LB's don't even help either, i've seen them literally wait for lee to make contact and then group tackle when lee has done the dirty work.

He’s a good player, I don’t consider him hall of fame talent...
