Why is it so quiet in here, are all the haters gagging?

Judging from the tenor of the predictions thread, there must be a bunch of disappointed forum members.

Unfortunate.

The win feels good, but here's an honest question. If the Cowboys don't get all the turnovers and Switzer doesn't get the punt return TD, are you positive we win this game? IDK.
Probably not but that's part of football. Everyone was complaining about the defense, they did great and created turnkvers which we capitalized on.

Hey I will take a win any day over a slightly better draft slot, and at this point, whats wrong with some motivated play with signs of cohesion.
Maybe a little late, but whos grasping for straws, saw some positive play from sound young ones that are going to be forming the back 7, Awuzie, Woods, Frazier, even Brown.
Irving and Tank were in beast mode, and got solid play from the LBers.

Not here to earn your respect, Frog, but we had a long thread this week about Cowboys fans justifying why they intended to root for the Commanders tonight. Not a cheap shot in any way, shape, or form. It was a clean hit.

I know that but I’ve always had differing opinions with you and completely respected your point of view. I try to be fair to all here opinion wise. A comment like that though makes it seem like people are rooting for losses! I’ve never done that but not sure how the last 3 weeks and last two decades doesn’t mean we can’t express frustration. No one thought we’d lose out the string. We won a game we should have plain and simple against 3rd stringers: I expect the same next week. It doesn’t change my opinion on our direction. The news right now is showing people celebrating in the street. I find the ebb and flow mind numbing as to total picture. My concern long term is coaching with consistency

Just curious why it's suddenly quiet when the Cowboys started winning. I couldn't take all the negativity in the live thread so I checked out here for a breath of fresh air but all is silent. Looking forward to more bashing and conspiracy theories that Gruden must be on Goodells payroll to throw the game.

One of the best performances of the year on several fronts against a division rival. I expected to win but not like this. Couldn't be more happy. Sleep tight haters, I don't how difficult it is to sleep after watching the Cowboys win but you must be miserable. On the other hand I'll be having very nice dreams of destroying the most inept team in the NFL next week who also happens to be a division rival.

CZ is always an extreme. Either we’re the Cleveland Browns (yes, someone started that thread this week) or we’re unbeatable and about to start a dynasty.

The truth is somewhere in the middle. And the fans who were against the team last week will be back on the bandwagon this week.

No. Overvaluing wins where you convince yourself Garrett is really a great coach.

Try again.
Dude, why even bother watching the games? You're obviously so miserable to see JG on the sidelines that you can't stand to us win. Come back when he eventually gets fired and you actually want the team to win.

Of course there's still concerns but this team looked night and day between the last 3 games. Coaches made adjustments, players clearly played better, etc It mjst be difficult to be so upset about that.

I was impressed with the ability to overcome the cluster 1st 15 min and stick with Morris. I’m not taking that away. I just hope we win winnable games like next week too.

Actually I said very little about the game. In fact I even made a comment what would likely happen given how we've played this year I s we would beat the Skins but then potentially spit the bit against the Giants.

That would pretty much define this season.

This team still is a massive longshot to make the playoffs.

Much longer shot than we would be in a usual season. In most years, 10 wins gets you in. It would be very unlikely this year.

The problem is the D has done this before..... And spit the bit the next week.

That's the real issue most have. Not that we suck week after week. It's that we are inconsistent over and over.

That's a real sign of coaching failings.

Even in this game you see issues we always see. For example, play calling issues. Key third down early, Skins don't have a defender in the middle of the field and our play call has all our WRs running routes outside the hashes.

It's frustrating as hell.

Heck, I was too busy screaming and cheering in my man-cave to worry about how quiet it was in here! Winning cures all!

People were expressly rooting for a loss today. To the Skins. If you weren't in that group, then my post wasn't intended for you at all. But I'm sorry, I've got no sympathy for any Cowboys fan who actively roots for the Skins.

I agree with you it's very unlikely we win out to qualify for the postseason.

I honestly wanted us to lose cuz i hate Garrett. I'm so conflicted now. After this pounding you'd expect us to go on a run but i wouldn't be surprised if we get all excited just to lose to the Giants next week
No, I expect them to lose either the Seahawks or Eagles game (or both) but not either of the next two, and they may well win out. And if they make it in, I think they'll be a dangerous out.

I will say, I think Nick Foles may be capable of beating them even if they rest Wentz.

If Washington scores first it is possible we would have melted down the way we have in the last 3 games. It's good we scored first.

We'll beat the Giants. That OAK game with no Zeke and both teams at 7-6 could be a doozie.

If we beat the Raiders, then I truly believe we’ll win out. Even if we don’t make the playoffs, ending the season on a 5-game winning streak is nice momentum to take into next year.
