Depression and Anxiety

Hang in there, it will get better. Women can make any man crazy in the long run if you let them get to you. Take up a hobby of some sort to keep your mind off things or go out and get some exercise, preferably outdoors like hiking or cycling.

If you like the water, try scuba diving........it will consume you once ya fall in love with it

I am sorry to hear that you are going thru this. Like everyone has said exercise, surrounding yourself with family and friends and think positive. You can get thru this and it will make you a better person. I know it is tough but things will get better. Whatever you do do not resort to illicit substances to heal your pain because then you have another issue to overcome. I am there for you if you need support.

You hang in there, Lukin. I've been through some of the battles you've described. There's life and hope and dreams and beauty in your future. Keep on keeping on, brother, I promise it gets easier no matter what.

Such wonderful feedback in this thread.

I'm so very sorry lukin to hear of the many losses you're experiencing. Life can throw some serious curve balls at you and it tries your resolve. I think being depressed is a normal reaction but please realize life continues and things do improve. You will look back three, six and twelve months from now and see how far you've come where your lowest times seem like a lifetime ago.

I've been there including being significantly impacted by the Sandy hurricane, went through a divorce with a young child and lost my father in a 6 month period. You need to look within yourself, stay strong and know things do improve.

There are many good suggestions here from your CZ friends. If you're finding it hard to connect with others during this time, another avenue I might suggest is this website https://www.meetup.com/. You would not believe the many groups of people with like interests out there and it is a great outlet to meet new local folks and do things together that you enjoy. Just a suggestion and is a great way to keep busy........

Very sorry to hear about your losses...

Thank you for the suggestions, I will check that web site out...

Thank you for your kind words...

I know it will get better....I just take it one day at a time...

I deal with depression. I have it under control now, but 2 years ago I swallowed a handful of sleeping pills when I was drunk. I didn't care if I woke up, or not. I used to self medicate with marijuana, which made it 3x worse. Marijuana being good for depression is completely false. Hang in there. I woukdnt wish this **** on my worst enemy.
