Exactly! I carry an unlimited data iPad with me everywhere I go so I don't need a smartphone. I tell people if it makes them feel better, I'll hold my iPad up to my ear :D
I have had my phone for years and have never called anyone on it

Is that an international show with which I'm the only one not familiar? (I honestly don't know if that sentence is proper or not.)
You must remember Top Cat, it was an American cartoon about a gang of streetwise felines and Their efforts to outwit Their nemesis Officer Dibble, voiced by the same actors who did Sgt Bilko.

Your sentence was a bit clunky and lacked flow and elegance, but perfectly understandable.

I remember the name, but don't recall ever watching it.

Eh, that DC.com forum turned to trash the last couple months anyway. Hopefully the trolls won't follow you in here..

Multi Billion dollar company can't run web forum software.
And then unceremoniously dumps some of their most loyal fans to the curb.
Sad.

The NFL really seems intent on pissing off their fan base. I didn't watch a minute of the playoffs.

Web sites close forums when the natives get restless, and they want to stifle the discontent. They don't seem to realize that only makes the natives even more restless.

I don't think they shut it down, so much as they just stopped maintaining it, out of complete apathy.

They planned a date to shut it down. It's not like they left it plugged in and the wall ran out of electricity. They chose. Really, you leave software on a server, and it runs forever.

Seems odd. The web is a fight for eyeballs, and they throw a bunch away.

And how about sending us some emails? Just the most basic of courtesy?

It was shockingly unprofessional. Any jerkoff with a google forum would have had the decency to send out a close down notice.

After 10 years I expected even more. Maybe a pack of Jerry Wipes or a $0.25 coupon toward a full Pizza at the stadium.
