I see a lot of misinformation about TO's production with the Dallas Cowboys. Let he remind you TO was around 32-33 when he signed with the cowboys and he last played at age 36

Every season with the cowboys, TO put up 1000 yds + and 10-15TDs

At age 36, he had 983 yds and 9 TDs with the Bengals and he missed two games.

TO played with different qbs but always put up big numbers

LOL those pesky stats always pop up LOL

Jason Garrett is the biggest cancer of all.

Throw everybody under the bus.. at one point it was Wade, TO, Romo, Dez, Rob Ryan, OL, defense.. he even hid his face on the Choice fumble based on his call.

He even fought and sabotaged with Bill Callahan and took credit for his line..

TO is was frustrated with the offense but still put up big numbers. He would have even more if not handicapped by the cowboys offensive scheme

He was an absolute beast on the field. And physically tough, too. Playing through HAS and such. So much fun to watch.

Cancer as a teammate, though.

This isn’t true at all. Though it is something some of you have decided to believe based on very little actual evidence.

I met TO a couple of times. He was valet parked next to me at House of Blues when my sis was filming a cowboys talk show for HMS. Nice dude. Said supz. I said supz back Terrell. Nice color on you rover man. He said yeah bro..it's metallic orange but it shimmers and changes colors in the light.

It’s OK..

your HC got play calling duties stripped from him and even his boss said his role will be ambiguous and they don’t want him around the offense, which was suppose to be where his brilliance was... and said he was in training..

We all know they changed play callers years ago. Though you’re misinterpreting what Jerry said about it, obviously. Whatever helps cement your own opinion. Who cares if any of it is real?

You obviously care following me around trying to defend your buddy telling me I misinterpret, after first denying the facts..

There is nothing to misinterpret.. Garrett failed at play calling.. that’s a fact.. Jerry said he was interfering with Callahan and after saying this said they don’t want Garrett on offense and he’d have an ambiguous role.

These are all facts. The correct definition of spinning is what you are doing Mrs. Garrett..

I have denied no facts. You’re misinterpreting that, too. Neither am I following you around. We’re discussing one topic, in one thread.

You did catch me in that I actually do care if the things I choose to believe are real. That was sarcasm though.

Of course you follow me around and deny facts.

Notice once again all your staying is opinion that I’m wrong as misinterpreting.. Jerry says Callahan was interfered with by Garrett and it wasn’t fair to Bill and Jason would be touching the offense anymore.

The fault is always the defense per you, and yet the play caller got demoted..

That’s facts..

Out of all those guys T.o. Is the only guy going to the HOF so I kinda lean his way when he says something is not right. Crayton said they were watching film and could see that Romo was clearly ignoring the progressions and focusing in on Witten. They had a meeting with Garrett and then that's when the media found out about the meeting. Crayton said the only person who could've leaked it to the media was Garrett because it was a closed door meeting.
TO not in hall of fame yet.. was he a good WR? yes. was he talented? yes. was he a cancer? yes. was he an a-hole? yes. just because he is HOFer, doesn't make him right.
Or I just know enough about football to know my opinion is validated with a decade of evidence.

Does it take Jason Garrett himself to admit these things to finally make it validated or is the actual plays he calls in games over and over out of the same formations not enough?

I’ve watched Garrett commit the crime. I don’t need him admitting to it to know he did it.
again, your blind hatred on Garrett. My response wasn't about garrett being bad or good, it was about TO's credibility. and as you so put it, there is a decade of evidence that TO was a cancer. I don't put much into anything he says about anyone.

the garrett issues are a whole separate discussion. like I said, in this forum the garrett haters, jump at anything that's against garrett. if Hitler says anything against garrett, you would support Hitler......

The nice thing about a post history is that it leaves no questions whose right and who is making thing up in a case like this.

For the second explicit time in this thread: nobody disputed that Jason Garrett was relieved of play calling responsibilities years ago.

If you want to talk specific quotes, provide them and we can discuss interpretations. Until you do, you’re just twisting what might have been said and not supporting yourself in the process.

We’ve gone through this argument about history and interpretation thousands of times even when Garrett was floundering on offense and you denied it and blamed the defense.

Then he got demoted.

Facts always favor me.. you just continue to yap without any evidence about how I’m wrong..

is this same TO who talked and acted his way out of SF and Eagles?

It doesn’t matter. It’s true.

You can disagree all you want about his theories about Romo and Witten or whatever else. You can’t deny his thoughts on our offensive scheme because the evidence is there for everyone to see.

I don’t need anyone to tell me we have a bland and basic offense that pigeon holes players, and plays into our tendencies.

I know enough about football that it’s isn’t even a question for me and that’s why I’ve been saying it since way back when TO was here.

I haven’t seen anybody ignore that obvious observation. TO definitely wanted to win. He was an animal. He played hurt. He came up big in big games. He was one of the biggest impact players of his generation. He’s not the one who threw up losing a Superbowl.

TO’s problems were narcissism and crippling insecurity. But they did him in on every NFL team he played for, nonetheless. And they’re hurting him again now, in the PR battle for his HoF bid.

You haven't seen anyone say TO was all about himself and not the team? It's right there at the top of the list of criticisms thrown at him.
