It has to be someone that is going to push Dak. I recommend Vinny Testaverde.

LOL, you honestly think the "facts" support Dak's case? The entire league disagrees with you.

The Cowboys couldn't get a 3rd-round pick for him at this point.
Ok now we just went to goofball territory.
It’s hard to know if you are messing with me when you speak for the entire league and talk about not being able to get a 3rd round pick for Dak...

Every team has a QB as good or better than Dak Prescott at this point. He's Blaine Gabbert without the arm strength.

Wildly inaccurate, reads nothing, hates the pocket, no confidence downfield....who would trade high picks for that?

Cleveland might.

I know, but it was amusing. The two passes in Dak's Raiders highlight video were very good passes. The second one cleared the linebacker underneath and was accurate. Passes we need to see a lot more of on a consistent basis.

But then 4 minutes of the same type passes, one after the other as if they were just routine. I didn't know weather to laugh or cry.

Did I compare Dak to Romo? You did

I posted those clips to prove Erod was wrong in his criticisms.

1. He said Dak scrambled and dumped the ball off. Plays in those clips prove otherwise

2. He said he did nothing well. I posted a couple of clips that I thought highlighted what he does do well. May not be good enough for you but it is what is. Most QB throws are routine. There were probably 8 throws in the SB combined that were great!

Sure you’ll ignore this but here is one for you and williebeamen:

You probably work in a cube like most of us and don't know that

I really wasn't trying to compare. I don't know why he's brought up so often in Dak discussions, but he is. I just found it funny that a video kind of trolled another video in a way. I'm beginning to realize even tongue and cheek remarks questioning Dak' s ceiling bring the wrath. Whatever, This year will tell a lot.

Irrelevant.

Jerry Jones would never put him on the market to find out.

He is a made man. After one miracle rookie season.

Tony hung Dez out to dry on that one interception. Dez was laid out. We heard a lot of crying from Dak haters this year because Dez had to jump for a ball and Dak was going to get him killed.

A great rookie season. He’ll be benched by game 4 if he continues to play unsure of himself as he was most of the second half of the season.

I just laugh at some of these suggestions. From giving up draft pick(s) for Siemian who in 2 season has 1 more win that Prescott had just for 2016, to signing Sanchez when the vikings release him - often injured QB, to one person even suggested Manziel, the funniest of them all. Before those that are looking to replace Prescott get to carried away just remember there was a 40% change in the offensive line between 2016 and 2017 and including the games Smith missed there was a 60% change. Elliott was lost for 6 games, the Cowboys "#1" receive when he wasn't throwing temper tantrums on the field And sidelines he was dropping passes or a new wrinkle this season fumbling the ball. The defense which in 2016 was number 1 against the rush dropped down to 19th and lost Lee for 5 full games plus 2 other games he left before half time. Yet there are people that want to place all of the Cowboys woes on Prescott. News flash - this is a team sport and it takes every position to play good on all of the snaps for teams to be successful. Yes I know no team does that but the good teams play well on the vast majority of snaps.
.

Look I get it..

This is truly a team sport.

There are guys who legitimately get to say "it ain't my fault that we suck" in this league but Prescott ain't one of them...

Guys like Matthew Stafford (perennial loser ) get to say that..

Why? Because every year he is in the top 10 in yards and touchdowns and overall QB stats.... in other words, he is doing his job. He is producing but his TEAM sucks...you see how that works?

Dak , when the team needed him the most, looked like trash.

Also , fans conveniently forget the last two games of the season and the Denver game as well. Both Zeke and Tyron played and Dak looked like crap.

Oh, and before we hear the excuses, who are Matthew Stafford's starting LT and RB? Exaclty......

I'm tired of the excuses..

If Dak needs everything to go right to have a chance to win, what's the point?

These people see and hear no evil when it comes to Romo.

Romo had more blunders than any QB in history. All he needed was 9 wins(2011-13) to make the playoffs and he couldn’t even get us 9. You think Rodgers misses the playoffs every year if all he needed was 9 wins?!

I remember a play back in 2010(I think). Bears were leading by 4 or 5 points. Cowboys had a decent drive going, near mid-field. Tony had T. Choice open in the flat. A good pass and Choice gets the first and probably more yards. Tony throws a pass that was way OFF... Choice had no chance to catch it. Of course Jason punts and the Bears score on their possession.

4th qtr

Choice was hot and to my great surprise he was letting Tony know about it!

If only this were true brother...

Sadly , our GM makes decisions like these based on articles he reads on the Wall Street Journal ..

To our GM, Dak "checks all the boxes"

What boxes you ask?

Jersey sales ? Check!

Commercials? Check!

How are you a fan of this team?

Romo holds ALL the relevant QB records for this team..

How does that make you feel?

I was a fan decades before that bum came to town

Danny White would hold them if he played in Tony’s era. Tony wouldn’t have got off the bench in Danny’s era.

Jerry doesn’t make decisions based on Jersey sales. Only the silly people who crave a real GM believe that.

Jerry gets paid off TV money, that logo and that stadium.

If Dak don’t get right by Training Camp, his *** is going to the bench! #watch

After seeing what Nick Foles did, I would think you clowns wouldn’t be so quick to want to dump a QB who has shown greatness but then had some rough patches. Kurt Warner! Hell bum Romo!

If it's so easy to pass for 4,000 yards and 30 touchdowns in this "era" why can't guys like Dak and Trevor Siemien do it?
They must really suck..

Oh, and before you give that "run first" excuse, Wentz was on Pace for over 4,000 yards and 40 TDs on the leagues number one rushing team.
Also, Goff has great stats despite the fact that his team has Gurley.

Dak had 6 games in Wich he could put up great stats and we all know how that turned out.. The team thought it had a better chance of winning by relying on a washed up has been (Morris) than to get pass happy. If its so easy to put up good stats in this era, that must mean Dak really sucks because he averages 150 yards a game.
