Suspension for Odell Beckham?

Some here are acting like only the Cowboys get punished and everyone else is free to do whatever they want. If the NFL feels this is a violation of league policy they’re going to do something about it. There isn’t anything in that short video clip that shows OBJ drugging that woman and forcing her into a sexual situation against her will. Good luck trying to prove that. Lol Funny how some of you are trying to spin what you want into that video. Has the girl in that video come forward accusing him of that? You’re going to need her testimony if you want to go there.
I guess you never heard of conduct detrimental to the league. Frankly there is more proof of this on ODB then there was on Zeke. But you have your head so far up the NFLs rear end you could care less

A domestic violence accusation is conduct detrimental to the league. If the league feels OBJ’s conduct is detrimental to the league something will be done about it.

a couple of the guys in that pic where smoking some weed. i'm not calling for an investigation but it seems like Odell is always around some drugs.

Listen, I'm not much of a OBJ fan off the field. I root for the guys wearing NY on their helmet for 16 games a season. Don't care who's wearing them. Never cared whether they were choir boys or convicts. Never cared if my team has the clean image other fans may find important. If OBJ gets suspended...so be it.

But let's not jump to conclusions just yet. You said they had weed on the boat. How do you know that? I know why you think that but that becomes speculation.

I thought the Zeke suspension was harsh considering the facts. But that didn't stop me from wanting him suspended for week 1. I think many Cowboys fans feel the same about OBJ. You want him guilty and I understand that. But don't just make stuff up to support your agenda.

The hypocrisy in this thread is amusing. Does anyone remember the nightlcub incident with Zeke? What about pulling the girls top up? Did he get investigated or in trouble for either of those? No. What about Zeke walking into the pot store? Was he drug tested for that? Fined? Investigated? NO! Because a) the NFL can’t just randomly drug test players based on suspicion and b) there was no proof he did any drugs.

Why wasn’t Zeke investigated for the nightclub? There was a shady video and extremely shady circumstances surrounding the entire incident but the NFL didn’t do anything because there was no accuser.

While OBJ is obviously a piece of garbage, there is no accuser nor is there any proof that he’s doing any drugs and he can’t be tested by league rules. I assume he’ll get a talking to and that will be it. Don’t worry, I’m sure he’ll eventually do something they can get him on but I doubt this is it.

its hard to see the coke...and the blunt could have been a cigar?....did i miss something
I’d bet my retirement that it’s coke but just like I’d bet my retirement Zeke hit the DJ in the club but I don’t think there’s enough there for the NFL to do anything without a “victim” or accuser. As some have already stated, if this girl came out and said something...then that would be an entirely different story.

That 7-11 pizza was more than likely just an impulse buy while operating in high orbito_O
(It happens,man)
Yeah, you go top shelf on a credit card, some high end coke and pot, ya gotta economize somewhere.

And I can recall some times in my younger days with ole Mary Jane, a 7-11 pizza would have been prime rib. The box would have been edible.

Oh, ok. I'd imagine a decent attorney could get OBJ off since he's not in possession but I'm not an attorney nor do I play one on the internet.

Either way, the police didn't bust in, so what are the legal repercussions from just this video? Now as far as the NFL is concerned, that as you know is a different animal.

Nothing illegal as there are no arrests, charges, or grand jury involved as far as we know. Also it would be worthy to note the different standards in regards to the Cowboys vs the NYG as the Cows. As seen in the Elliott case there needs to be no evidence, just an accusation by an unreliable person.

This potential drug involvement and consorting with prostitutes are not politically charged subjects either as DV has been.

The funny thing is Goodell would be wrong to suspend a Cowboy here but wrong not to suspend a Giant. For most people, there is no consistency in the thought process.

For sure, if that was Beasley it would be a non issue.

OH YEAH...how did this not come up yet?

People wanting “conduct detrimental to the league” because of why? Holding a possible blunt? So any NFL player holding a cigar should be suspended because it may or may not contain marijuana? Lying in bed with another woman who is assumed to be a prostitute? Sure, sounds good but don’t you dare accuse David Irving of “conduct detrimental to the league” for posting a picture publicly on his own Instagram account lying in bed with not one, but two, scantily covered women while he brags about how much he loves his wife for giving him the threesome. He then gets in a cyber war of words with people and tells them not to look at it if they don’t like it and he’s not doing anything wrong.

Lol, take off your glasses homers and at least be consistent. Again, I admit the whole thing looks sketchy as hell and there probably are drugs involved but I’m not sure the NFL can do much here unless she comes forward with something.
