Cowboys were actually a pass-happy team up until Linehan came along

Pass attempts by team
2011: 570
2012: 658(reason why Jerry stripped Jason of play calling duties)
2013: 586(Callahan)

Dez still couldn’t put up big numbers.

2014: 476
2015: 528(Williams even put up 800 yards; Dez 400)
2016: 483
2017: 490

The walls are about to close in on Dez Bryant.

The Cowboys aren't paying him his current salary next year. He says he won't take a pay cut.

But free agency lingers on. The money is drying up. The draft is around the corner. Rosters are cementing around the league.

Whenever Dallas makes their counter offer, it will exceed what teams have to offer on the open market. It'll be "take it or leave it", and he'll either stay where he's comfortable for a LOT less money, or he'll leave in defiance and take an even lesser prove-it deal elsewhere.

A team out there might be about to get a really good receiver for very cheap. Green Bay? New Orleans? New England? Seattle? Philadelphia?

The biggest thing Dez has going against him right now is that I don't think the Cowboys really care if he's here or not.
Felicia will be gone soon. No worries.

How y'all like those apples? o_O:popcorn:

it's my experience that people who say "bye, felicia" are typically pretty corny.

Lol. 2015. You mean the year after his career year when he ended up being hurt for most of the season? I would hope Williams had more yards considering he played all season and dez played in like 4 games. Wow some people on here are just hilarious.

Oh my.. It's not a goof because someone other than Romo completed a pass to Dez. It's just obvious that Dak is not good at throwing to Dez because Dez has never gotten wide open.

Also, this coaching staff is to blame for the between the 20's stuff. Dez is an incredible YAC guy but he doesn't get put in YAC situations enough. The coaches need to simply get the ball in his hands.

The drops? A Fluke. An Outlier year. He hasn't forgot how to catch a ball.

Watch the other vids. Dak hit himwhile he was covered.

Dez is a disaster

I am looking forward to the next 9 months of you complaining about Bryant.

Going to be entertaining.
At this point. I want them to cut him, him go somewhere else like the Pats or GB, put up crazy numbers and go for a ring. I would love to see all of those people lined up in a firing squad afterwords. This is just getting crazy

First of all dude do u even know how to play chess?! Check mate is the final move, it symbolizes someone has won..in reference to what u are talking about who would have won in this equation?! & If ur implying Stephen won then like I said previously "dude do u even know how to play chess?!"& There's a lot of more mistakes u said like "the money drying up" come on cannon the money never dries up, what u think these are raisins of some sort, are u serious (money drying up) & rosters are never cemented. The guy u referring to (Stephen Jones) constantly tells u talent acquisition is 365 day type of business so there goes that theory, but the whole"checkmate" analogy is off based
First of all dude, do you even know what cement is? Cement is the cementitious product that goes into making concrete. Currently we use three cementitious products to make concrete at my plant: cement type I/II, DF and fly ash. Mix a percentage of I/II with water, rock, sand and maybe a few additives, and you've got concrete. People have been using the term "cemented" wrong for years. It should be "concreted" but that sounds dumb so I'd find a different term altogether because cement in its normal form is just a powder.

My only question: does cutting Dez and freeing up the money make us likely to sign a difference making player? If so, sure, I'm interested. If not, no thanks.

I hope we keep him but the best thing he can do for his career is to leave Dallas and go to a team with a QB and real coach.

He'll go to the HOF if he does that.
Yeah....

So the next think I will enjoy following up on is how Dez is destroying his new team as well. I expect to have those conversations around mid season.

He did nothing in those games. 88, 1320 is a career year? In this era? I guess

There's no one left other than trade for Thomas that would have that impact. There are some solid players left that could fill a hole with a competent player - Logan (DT), Boston (FS), Bowman (LB) - but those guys aren't going to be difference makers.

He played with some of the worst QBs in recent Cowboys memory in 2015 on top of him basically being hurt and playing injured for much of the year..

Putting any stock into 2015 would show a clear agenda.

Which it does. The agenda is real in here and its really becoming annoying. Between the Dak and Dez agenda's I really don't even know how some of these people can actually call themselves fans.
