They achieved their goals and got the number 1 overall pick and the players that they wanted. Conversely, what have Jason Garrett's meaningless wins done for the Cowboys?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't two of those "perennial losers" won championships more recently than the Cowboys have?

I guess we're right down in "the dumpster of the NFL" with them based on "winning championships" criteria?

Not since tanking they have not. Suck for Luck was in the wake of the Manning years. TB wasn't tanking under Gruden and Dungy.

And tanking is a means to an end even if a poor one. The draft has never been a team's end game. It's all about wins on the field.

And the point here is that tanking's performance has never gotten what you want in the NFL. You can do the whole self loathing thing if it makes you feel better. That was not my point at all.

It's not "all about wins" when they don't matter. Yiu can't bank them and yiu can't carry them over to the next season. When a season is lost, it's lost. When you're 3-8 and your quarterback isn't coming back, there are no "moral victories".

When you are mathematically eliminated from the playoffs? "Winning" accomplishes nothing more than a lower draft pick.

And your "support" was showing teams doing it for the past two or three years as "evidence"? And then citing the fact that they then didn't win immediately as "proof"?

That seems like a weak case at best. And certainly not sufficient to counter the fact that the only thing Garrett's meaningless wins have done is to help him personally and hurt this team collectively.

Again you can't comprehend what I wrote. How can you claim to be so much smarter then everybody but yet fail to comprehend simple statements. Not sure how else to write it for you. Go back and read it again and see if you can understand what was wrote.
First of all, it's "than", not "then". That pretty much tells me I'm wasting my time here with you. Plus, once again, why drag everyone into this when I clearly am addressing you and you only? Ok, we get it, you refuse to accept my bet.

And what is your proof Stash? One example of tanking creating playoff wins and championships.

I won't hold my breath.

I won't hold my breath.

I gave you my support - the #2 overall pick in 2016 and Carson Wentz vs the #4 pick and Ezekiel Elliott.

The #19 pick in 2018 vs the #16 pick.

And more time with an undeserving coach in Jason Garrett.

Now I'll ask you to finally provide an answer. What have those "moral victories" gotten the team that's actually been a positive?

Vea not many sacks in his college career. Danny Shelton same type of player and Browns already traded him away.

We never tanked. We were just bad when Romo went down. There is a difference.

The Eagles traded for Wentz after finishing 7-9 in 2015. They weren't pulling healthy players and trying to lose either.

You wanted Garrett to try to lose the Eagles game so you could get your preferred outcome.

I never claimed they did? Why is this being mentioned?

Again, who claimed that they did? Where are we going here?

You wanted Garrett to try to lose the Eagles game so you could get your preferred outcome.

I wanted the Cowboys to try to lose because it was in the best interests of the team long term. Garrett is, and should be, a non-factor in that equation. The problem is, that he's not excluded from the equation.

You're wasting your time because you failed to comprehend or answer simple questions. Hence the reason you are dancing around like a chicken with his head cut off.

Go back and read both comments I made and see if you can comprehend. I doubt you can do it though. Easy to say I bet without any specifics, guess it's to try and make yourself feel good. Which to a boastful person their ego gets hurt when called out. Perhaps it makes you feel like you have made a point but in reality just a joke.

Yawn. I was looking forward to making an easy $100. Oh well. Carry on.

Still haven't said what the bet is. You try to seem so confident but yet dance around the question. I tell you what I bet you 500 dollars you don't have a clue how the first round will go and can't pick 32 draft picks correctly in the first round.

My bet was so much simpler. You won't accept it since you're dead wrong. Typical backpeddling.

I have asked you 5-6 times what you are betting but fail to say, instead you're dancing around talking about what an easy 100 you would win. In my bet I let you know what the bet was. You on the other hand have yet to do that.

It all started because I told you that you have no idea how the first round will go....... You replied with "I bet you a 100 dollars". Now you can answer the question or you can keep running in circles avoiding the question.

Yawn. Would have been an easy 500, oh well
