Why wouldn’t you place Atlanta , Seattle and Green Bay ahead of Dallas who all beat us?

I’d place us somewhere after that assuming Dak develops and we add more talent on defense . If not we could slip further back.

Your certainly entitled to your view but until proven we aren’t better than those teams. It’s why we play the games.
Atlanta was without Zeke.

GB and Seattle were close games. The game against Seattle we stopped running the ball.

Also Seattle lost a ton of their team and no way they are better then Dallas right now.

Atlanta and GB aren't clearly better then us. I would say we could beat them just like they could beat us

We haven't had a game changing Defense in years so expect the same from them come next season therefore it will all basically come down to No 4 performance!

Look for us to compete for a Top 5 pick next season......:banghead:...drafting of course a QB with our no 1 selection.....
That's silly talk. Not a single person would put Dallas in the bottom 5 of the league

Thank you. We have the talent and in my honest opionion certain coaching held us back. Two to three wins in games we were leading, but lost cost us a playoff spot. GB and and Atlanta come to mind.
Rams, GB were all games we were leading before half. Missing Lee in those games were a big reason for that. Atlanta everybody was missing, Zeke Tyron, Lee etc.

Coaching will be huge. Position coaches I think it's highly upgraded compared to last year.

Irving was missing the first 4 games. There isn't a team we can't beat when we are 100 percent. Philly and the San Diego games were just another break down due to injuries. Perhaps we would have still lost them but no way we do by double digits.

we are not close to competing for anything come next year. am I throwing in the towel? NO. let me repeat. NO

games have to be played. teams off season additions may not always work out.

but Eagles are the champs and they get Wentz back. Minn. had a great defense added a good QB and they will get Darwin back. Rams are loading up and have added some nice pieces and they had some nice young pieces already. assuming those three are class of the division.,

so that leaves Cowboys, GB, Carolina, Seattle, Falcons, NO as the group to fight for 3 spots. which basically leaves us fighting for twoof the final spots. right now we are behind all of those teams. yes we get Zeke back and that will make a lot of difference. but its an uphill battle.

again, not throwing in the towel. just based on the off season. yes, draft to come but everyone always claims draft made them better and my draftee is better than yours.
Psst!
Here is the reality, lad. It is Philly, the Rams, Minnisoda, Atlanta, NE, Green Bay. And cowboys, maybe 10th.
Blimey! This leaves us to compete in 2019.
Don't be deceived. Super Bowl is unrealistic next season. Pipe. Dream.

Wentz won’t even be back for training camp. He may never be the same QB again. The injury he suffered isn’t your typical ACL tear. Even if he is back, he won’t be 100% until mid season.

The Cowboys went 9-7 while missing Zeke for 6 games. If he doesn’t get suspended, we likely make the playoffs.

The Eagles don’t scare me in the least. Probably the weakest Super Bowl champion in 15 years.
Brave words. Naïve but brave.

I'd bet anythingthat's not true barring playoff success

Well hopefully I can't prove my point and dallas is really good. I dont think dallas makes the playoffs this season. Garrett will still be here no matter what the next 3.

Follow Moaner..

and we are all right there with you..

Despair not.

Each year is different.

Look at us in 2016.

Nobody except people in Green in Gold and with the last name Rodgers could beat us.

13-3 just like the Iggles did in 2017.

So based on everything except an actual played game against them..

you want to accept defeat?

That's what you are saying but you couch it hesitantly.

We all know there is no scoring or record keeping in the off-season.

But you have decided you have it.

Nay nay bretheren.

We got a longggggg way to go yet.

So do they.

They have a QB controversy brewing.

hhhmmmm.....

So should I cancel the bet I made with my buddy, who is an Eagles fan? He gave me 3-1 odds on $100 bet, that the Cowboys wouldn't make the playoffs this year. I feel pretty good about it though. It's an even year. I bet him right after the Eagles won the Super Bowl, while he was annebriated, talking smack.
Doesnt matter if its an even or odd year. That only works when you end up with a schedule that is weak and has maybe two playoff teams on it. The schedule this year is brutal! I would cancel your bet!

Your right that we arent close to competing for anything but Im like you I am not throwing in the towel either. The Cowboys schedule this year has more playoff teams on it than I can remember any schedule having. This should be a fun season! Its gonna be sink or swim not beat up on a bunch a bad teams and make the playoffs. Garrett will be forced to do his homework or he will be getting a failing grade!

Cowboys haven't gotten that message yet in the last 22 years.

Yeah so that means we have zero chance. If thats your attitude why are you waisting your time here?

I don't think many rational fan's are expecting us to compete for a superbowl. We will be pretty good though. This schedule is rough but I expect a decent season. Wouldnt put money on dallas making the playoffs though.
