This game is insane for the Phillies. Only the 5th time in club history the Phil's had/have 2 grand slams in a game and 4xs in club history with 20 or more runs. The club record I think is 26 runs vs the Mets in '85 at the Vet.

Just go ahead and give Ohtani the MVP and Cy Young now. The guy is the real deal.

Not a huge baseball fan anymore, but a good friend follows the Angels. He told me about Ohtani and I didn't believe it. 100 MPH fastball with longball ability...never happens. He's legit. I'm a fan, for sure.

Went to Spring Training in Phoenix a couple years ago and watched the Angels. Stayed in Scottsdale so it was a bit of a commute to see the Angels, but I'd go back in a heartbeat even without Ohtani because Trout is worth the price of admission by himself. Such a great atmosphere, too. Beer on the grass in left-center...not sure it gets better.

Anyone catch the bringer of rain last night? Grand slam to cap off a great performance by my Blue Jays?

Are Mets playing over their heads? Are they setting their fans up for a crash landing?

Where has Redvolution been lately? Isn't he the Yankees #1 fan and #1Mets hater? I figured he could give me some insight to when the Mets were going back to sucktitude.

The Mets are a playoff team, just depends on injuries. Thor, DeGrom and Cespy have to stay healthy if they want to hit the post-season. There are a lot of ifs with this team. Injuries to the pitching staff will be the downfall :(

That's a pretty good evaluation. If the pitching staff maintains its health then they should be right there in the fight for a playoff spot.

If the Yankees were gonna get rid of Girardi, they needed someone with at least some experience. Too much talent to be putting in the hands of a manager with no experience like Boone

Yeah, that hiring was a huge mistake. It never ceases to amaze me how some teams foolishly hire media personalities.

It's very easy to have all the answers on MLB Tonight, NFL Live or Hockey Talk. Not so much when you are the one who has to make the decisions in the heat of the moment.
