Not a huge baseball fan anymore, but a good friend follows the Angels. He told me about Ohtani and I didn't believe it. 100 MPH fastball with longball ability...never happens. He's legit. I'm a fan, for sure.
Went to Spring Training in Phoenix a couple years ago and watched the Angels. Stayed in Scottsdale so it was a bit of a commute to see the Angels, but I'd go back in a heartbeat even without Ohtani because Trout is worth the price of admission by himself. Such a great atmosphere, too. Beer on the grass in left-center...not sure it gets better.

The Mets are a playoff team, just depends on injuries. Thor, DeGrom and Cespy have to stay healthy if they want to hit the post-season. There are a lot of ifs with this team. Injuries to the pitching staff will be the downfall

That's a pretty good evaluation. If the pitching staff maintains its health then they should be right there in the fight for a playoff spot.

Sox pitchers wont stay healthy all year. And the Jays look pretty decent right now. Its April.

Yeah, that hiring was a huge mistake. It never ceases to amaze me how some teams foolishly hire media personalities.
It's very easy to have all the answers on MLB Tonight, NFL Live or Hockey Talk. Not so much when you are the one who has to make the decisions in the heat of the moment.
