To me, that statement by her does nothing to take away his football troubles. Possibly his legal will be ok because even if the prosecutor believes she is covering it up, it still may be a little tough to prove without her corroboration. Goodell on the other hand doesn't have to "prove" it (see Elliot case) so we better hear Goodell say early "this is nothing so your all good" otherwise we're in for a long ride with suspension lingering over his head for a long time.

That seems a stretch to me. IF he is cleared, pays child support, and maintains a relationship with his kid with no further issue I see no issue.

And that's my biggest gripe about the NFL. I think "innocent until proven guilty" should go beyond the court room. It's a value we all should live by, IMO. The NFL obviously doesn't think so.

That wouldn't have stopped the nfl. If he had paid for her boobs to make her happy then she doesn't burn him with the nfl. But they trusted the nfl would treat him fairly and realize she was a liar. They were wrong.

Goodell did suspend Jarvis Landry with video, doesn’t mean Irving will be either.

Again. She admitted to lying to the police. No DA is going to indict him given that absent some other witness or evidence.

Goodell could of course do what he wants but we will see. That is seperate from the truth or due process though.

If he pays his child support that is not how it works. A family court judge will nail you to the wall if you don't pay but it's not like she can just go into family court and demand more money on unsubstantiated claims of DV and the court will grant a higher payment.

Really she is killing the goose that lays the golden egg but she is pissed off and punitive right now after being locked out of the house in the last couple of days.
