He only had six catches and as a returner he wasn’t consistent. With the Cowboys trading for Austin you knew someone would be sent packing. Austin will be used like Lance Dunbar as an RB and returner.

Honestly, once they traded for Austin I Figured Switzer was on the block.

I liked Switzer but Austin is a better returner. And this means Beasley stays which is absolutely fine by me.

Some seemed to think it was going to be Beasley and I wasn’t buying that. If it was up to some on this board they would get rid of all our best players. Beasley is our best chain moving receiver.

Switzer has really shown nothing since he's been here. He's an overrated, short WR with exaggerated athleticism. I would trade someone like that for a developmental DL with upside any day of the week.

Austin will be the punt returner in Dallas.

We didn't even get to see Switzer's potential as this coaching staff barely even used him. Hopefully this trade works out for us.

Switzer didn’t show much as a receiver and other than one good return he didn’t do much as a returner. He was taking too many chances on returns from deep in the end zone, not even getting to the 20 yard line.

Also a lot easier to trade a young player for a young player.
