Jerry mentioned that they "had" to take Switzer after PHI jumped them last year. Interesting choice of words.

I always felt like the phrase the game wasn't too big for him didn't apply to Switzer. I thought he had a little bit of a deer in the headlights look when he was on the field. That's probably what made him make poor decisions on kick returns.

Switzer was Drafted in the fourth round (133rd overall) by Dallas.
