It passed in the blink of an eye, but the Cowboys’ offseason program has drawn to a close. Rookies will remain at The Star for workouts for the next week or so, but veterans are off and offseason practices are over.

While we regroup for training camp, here’s a quick notebook from the final day of this year’s minicamp. After two days of struggles, we saw a better effort on Thursday from the Cowboys’ offense.

Here are my notes from the practice field:

Some bad throws here and there but a lot more consistent. He’s so weird though because he always plays better than he practices
I believe he is working on certain things each practice. Footwork one day, consistent release point and arm angle the next, staying patient and reading the d next. Kind of like a pitcher working on a pitch in spring training. Really hoping he puts it all together this season. Not real excited about his coach. We can spend unlimited funds on coaching and we went cheap.

Dak always seems to be just a little too laid back! Im not sure that translates into good practice form.

When Dak plays well or struggles in games?
Im basing that statement on Dak's previous statements and Linehan's confidence in Moore.
Dak said,"“(He’s) a genius behind the scenes, who doesn’t get enough credit for what he does helping me out and helping this offense out,” Prescott said via the Dallas Morning News’ Jon Machota. “He’s an offensive coordinator in his own mind. He’s simply a genius when it comes to helping coach Linehan out and early in the week giving looks, helping me out with things the defense does, maybe little keys here and there to tip me off or coverage's or blitzes.”.

Linehan seems to be staking his job on Kellen

Just saying will peoples eyes be opened also when Dak struggles. Nothing more.

Hope you're right. Was totally against him as QB coach. I'll pull for him.

Problem is that if Dak does good or bad, is it because of the skill or lack thereof of Dak, or the ability or lack thereof of Moore?

If Dak doesn't do well, but it's not Moore's fault, Moore will likely get the blame, just like poor head coaches' assistants are often fired before the head coach is...

Oh so Dak threw a nice back shoulder fade pass?

Hey that's great, we all know the reason Tony didn't win 3 SBs here is because he couldn't make that throw, right?

:lmao2:
