You don’t realize the importance of good coaching( good in game adjustments, a smart passing scheme that is not predictable, smart clock management, etc.) You put all the blame on Dak in 2017 when the team was struggling and didn’t even realize players were injured and Garrett’s coaching was mediocre at times and atrocious at others( Atlanta game and Seattle game ). Coaching matters to a teams QB for your information!!

We definitely should be spending more on our D line. All our Super Bowl winning teams had dominant D lines. Defense gets the scraps,while the O gets all the prime rib, well except the coaching.

Sometimes we do need to go out and get a player to put us over the top. Never forget, we won 3 Superbowls after getting Haley from SF. Great pickup. It not only strengthened us immensely, but weakened our stiffest competition the Niners. I really wish we valued D more.

Correct....but some just want OFF-LINEMAN galore .....anything and everything to be sacrificed for Dak to have the best tools around him....PATHETIC TIMES IN BIG D......and then we ask Marinelli to perform miracles with players who are either to young or lack the talent to make doomsday Great once again!

We’ll have to agree to disagree. You think Dak is the problem( best rookie QB in the history of the NFL) and I think Jason Garrett( above average talent every year, and below average coaching job every year) is the problem.

Dak only cost a 4th round pick - he was never expected to be the next franchise QB. If he remains a serviceable starter, they got a lot more out of him than they could have hoped for.

What they should have done for Romo, and his subsequent replacement, is focus more heavily (and sooner) on building a defense that could transition them until they can acquire their next franchise QB. Dak's results in 2016 only masked the fact that he was put into a crappy situation for a rookie QB. Young QBs need defense and reliable receivers, not a RB. Jerry's trying to prove it can be done backwards - we'll have to see if he's right.

Foles just won a freaking Superbowl MVP and he is content with being the backup..

Dak brought this on himself the day he thought he was good enough to be the starter for America's team...

And don't give me that "coaches desicion" crap because if Dak had said "look , I had a good couple of games but I'm not ready. I need to sit for a year or two and work on some things while Romo starts" none of this would be happening..



The way things went down you could see Romo really wanted a chance to play and Prescott could have sat behind him for a year or two..

Look , all I'm going to say is that maybe some people do hate Prescott because of his "race" but also , the reason some support him is also only because of his "race" so it goes both ways...

As for me , I couldn't care less. I just hate the way he plays the game. He's the Jason Garrett of Quarterbacking... Always says the right stuff.. clapping and slapping butts . But doesn't have the guts to take a risk and will only go as far as others him.

I would love to have Deshaun Watson or Patrick Mahomes as our QB..
