Maybe his purpose of sharing the player ratings is to inform the people who play Madden and like to pick their favorite team.

Basically, it's a set of arbitrary numbers that Madden uses to describe a player's skill level.

I didn't play Madden 18, but I heard that the running game on it was rubbish for a lot of teams. Lucky for me because I depend on the ground game anyway when I'm playing. I'm literally the most boring chap you can hope to play on Madden.

I have had no issues with Dallas and Zeke in 18.

All-Madden with blocking slider at 45, Zeke has set 3 years of 2,100+ yards rushing lol.
Can run inside or outside but found running outside early made for better success inside than vice versa.

Never had as success running out of spread formations though compared to a FB/TE on the field(21)

A team like Miami struggled greatly on anything inside till I upgraded 2-3 guys on the line.

Couldnt run anything with zeke. Constantly stopped in the back field. I'd always trade zeke and get a fast rb.

Even then, it could not be a bad rating for Dak. Only 3 QB's are over 90. Think that's a decrease from last year.
Besides, overall ratings are not the end all.
You can have corners, for example rated in the 70's low 80's, but can be beasts at man to man coverage for example.
(IE speed of 92, awareness of 70 something, Man coverage of 90, zone of 77 etc, play rec of 78) and still get a low 80's rating. Yet he can shut down guys when used correctly.
And a few clicks of awareness or mid arm accuracy and that 80 overall can jump a few points.

for me the FB was key in stopping that one unblocked LB to break a decent run.

That's true. If you've got a QB in the 80 range in Madden, then you'll typically do okay. And yes, I do like using my FB when I am playing Madden. As stated, I'm a rather boring player in the sense that my offense will basically run you into submission. I forgot that I did play once at a local restaurant where they had the game, and I won despite throwing the ball maybe 5 times that entire game.
