Keep believing that. lol And Montana's team was loaded too. Don't kid yourself. Can't understand Cowboy fans that diss a HOF QB who led the team to 3 SB's.

I am a cowboys fan. That doesnt mean i have to switch of my brain and be an aikman homer.

I followed his whole career as i did with Montana.

You wont compare those players ?! Will you.

An Aikman homer? Never heard that one. usually it's Romo homers or Dak homers. Didn't know you had to be a homer to appreciate an all time great. Carry on. No sense continuing this conversation any longer. I do know back in the 90's there is not one QB I would have traded Aikman for. He was that good and a born leader and I followed his whole career too. #1 draft pick who led the team to 3Sb's and nothing more than a bus driver. I've heard everything now. lol

Dak is better than Wentz. What has Wentz did that Dak hasn't? Besides finish last place?

Disagree. Several saw the problems on more than one position accumulating on this Oline for the past several years. The previous Oline Coordinator's inability to recognize that and make the proper fixes certainly didn't help, hence why he's no longer here.
Oy I guess some are willing to say anything in defence of the guy. I like Dak, big fan of his, but I gotta be real.

You honestly think Wentz would have faired better under the same pass pressure that Dak suffered the 2nd half of last season?

Yeah, C sounds about right. I think Dak would work best in a run-first offense that lives off the play action. Sorta similar to what Dallas was doing in the 90's, but I don't think Dak can be Aikman. He's a servicable starter and can certainly be the guy with the right pieces around him, I just don't think he's ever going to be a superstar.

With what proof? Wentz's accuracy was worse last year even though he had much better pass protection and better receivers. His body proved it couldn't handle getting hit, yet Dak got hit pretty hard repeatedly, and his body has held up so far.

Here, let's compare Olines:

Pro Football Focus' Post-2017 All 32 NFL Oline Pass Efficiency Rankings

https://www.profootballfocus.com/ne...ocial&utm_source=twitter.com&utm_campaign=nfl

8. PHILADELPHIA EAGLES
2017 pass-blocking efficiency: 80.9

Best individual PBE: Brandon Brooks, 97.9

The Eagles fielded one of the best offensive lines in the NFL a season ago. Their line play was a big reason their season culminated with a Super Bowl victory. All told, they allowed 154 quarterback pressures over 636 passing plays, which included just 96 hurries, the third-fewest surrendered by an offensive line. The unit was solidified by guard Brandon Brooks, who tied for seventh among guards during the regular season with a pass-blocking efficiency of 97.9. Brooks also saved one of his best games of the year for the Super Bowl, where he didn’t allow a single pressure. The return of left tackle Jason Peters should only bolster this unit in 2018, as they suffered a decline in pass protection after his injury, falling from fifth in PBE before his injury to eighth after his injury.

16. DALLAS COWBOYS
2017 pass-blocking efficiency: 78.5

Best individual PBE: Zack Martin, 98.4

The Dallas Cowboys saw a drop off in production in 2017, having lost Ronald Learyand Doug Free prior to the season and left tackle Tyron Smith missing time due to injury. They allowed 19 sacks, 26 hits and 108 hurries on their 555 passing plays. Despite the cumulative setback, right guard Zack Martin continued his dominant play, as he allowed just 11 total pressures on 531 pass-block snaps, resulting in the highest pass-blocking efficiency among guards at 98.4. Heading into the 2018 season, the Cowboys hope that second-round pick Connor Williams can replace the production that was lost by guard Ronald Leary, as Williams allowed just 27 pressures on 932 pass-block snaps over the last three years at the University Of Texas. Where Williams plays in addition to their potential moves of La’el Collins is another story, and one that should be ironed out before Week 1 if they want to vault up this list.

 so you grade on a curve. Not how he performs. That's the reason many here are delussional. You factor everything in to prop him up. I go by his performance sorry that's the kind of footballfam I am.

I would say this. It's only his second year hopefully he can improve.

You say I give him an A because I really really like him

You didnt understand what I said. But I can tell your not interested in having a conversation.
