Nurse practitioner or anesthesia. She already has 57 college hours.
Good for her, brother. Entry level for the former is around 100K, the latter ~150-200K, iirc. Great career paths. I'd be pulling for Anesthesiologist, myself, there Gus. A wonderful occupation with very high earning potential.

That disgust me bro. I ain’t having it anymore, muh ninja. They cut off.

I still got you for some more lovin’, same with Coach, JC, PA and some of the other folks that I don’t run into the boards that often.

A lot of the fellas and chickas here get my loving everyday, but there’s some of you that I don’t get to. I’m sorry bro, I don’t forget either.

Those peeps that think they’re better than us, I want to smash them on the boards. When I do reply to them they never respond. But they will jump all over some new member with 500 posts cuz it’s safe for them. I don’t even know what the **** I’m talking about half the time, and they still don’t acknowledge me, even when I’m cordial or propping them up. They have every opportunity to debate me and they tuck tale and run. I respect the folks that debate me and reply to me, provided they’re not being trollish or trying to get a rise out of me.

Spineless pricks, Loc, they are, those fooz that think they better than all of us.
Let them be their own problem, not yours. You have plenty of people on here that like you, they deserve your attention and time.

I tell ya Trouty, one of my great life's lessons learned was not trying to make people like me that don't. That only serves to feed them and starve me. I would rather spend time with someone that likes me and have them like me more than spend any time trying to change someone's mind.

There is this Rule of 10 in sales which also applies to life. If you go to a function, cocktail party, something like that and there are 100 people that you have never met and your assignment is to meet all 100 and have a 1-2 minute conversation with each, the Rule is that 30 will like you right off but not all could tell you why. 30 will not like you and not all could tell you why but that will be based on them, not you. Chances are that if they liked you, you would not like yourself. But in the sales arena it is that 40 that mean success as they're undecided about you but you have identified them and the next gathering is just them and you now must spend 5 minutes in a conversation with them. Shift just 20 to the like column and you are a .500 hitter, a super star.

Brother, there are those that took an instant dislike to me here as on the old DC.com and all I did was acknowledge that to myself and identify that poster as one not to engage, do not let them feed their dislike. Or if I am in an ornery mood, I have identified targets.

Well, the feeling is definitely mutual, CC. Thank you for the uplifting post. I hope we get more of you in here, our Tavern, but I know you have the Fireside Chat (that I lurk into from time to time) with your comrades from your old forum.

You're such a wonderful addition to our forum, brother. Thank you for all the uplifting posts you've given me in recent weeks, CC. :star:

Anesthesia,,, just think of the nitrous oxide laughing gas array she could have set up on the port side of yer' lazy boy lounge recliner, COACH,,, & THE HANGOVER CUREMENT of pure OXYGEN casing-liner on the right side of it,,,o_O
Lol!!!! That thought had crossed my mind!!

I've been trying to talk her into pharmacy. Any of those are great.

Oh man, pharmacist would be a home run. My best friend's father is a pharmacist. They do pretty well, brother, especially if you land a job with the city/county - which would also allow a second job at a pharmacy. My bud's dad works for the county of LA as well as the head pharmacist for CVS in his city. He pulls around 375K a year

Very kind of you to say so. I like the Off Topic parts of this site better than the gen pop because I find that boring and redundant and it seems to be more of a contest than The Morning Pops, Beer, Fireside and other threads that spring up. These are the threads where we get to know more about that person at the keyboard.

It's like a bunch of us discovered on the old site, mainly in the off season, we came to talk football and found a bunch of new friends. They were a more relaxed about straying off topic, a specialty of mine, on the old site but the Off Topic area did not have as much action as it does here. I see posters a lot more in here than in gen pop and several of our folks have remarked about pretty much getting stonewalled out there. I have also seen the complaints about The Great Migration and I knew kids like that in school, they were the clique kids. The forerunner of prison gangs.

Howdy gentleman, ladies! I'm just dropping in before I begin the very long work schedule for me. I've had my time off , now it's time to get in gear.
Getting started is the problem. lol. So here's some "Fine" music for the afternoon. Hope you enjoy.

**** those posters that have an issue with the new group. I was overwhelmed at first, but I got to know the new guys, and now I feel completely above ground with the influx of new posters, no more overwhelmed.

As for the Main Board, well, that's actually my main squeeze here at CZ, especially during the season, as well as it approaches. Don't be turned off by the punks over there, keep posting. It's your version of feeling overwhelmed, maybe. Best way to quash it is get to posting over there, CC

Woot! Love me some country. LOVE the Chicks. My girls.

Oh, I post there when something interests me like "that was a catch" or "Zeke is innocent" because we just didn't discuss those topics enough.

Ya-know, CC ? That Fan Zone forum and the sticklers of adhered to unwritten protocol that post are our reason for being but you & those other newer members are right in noticing certain particulars pertaining to it,,,that very same reason had pretty much kept me in a wide orbit& regulated to being a shadowed lurker of this site for several years before joining.

Yeah, I was terrified of posting here for about 4 years. Purely lurker, too, Mel.

Even now, when I don't drink, I'm reluctant to post. It sucks that boozing is what gives me the courage/motivation to post. I guess it is what it is.
