If we get Earl thomas and sign him to be the highest paid safety at 14million . We still have to pay Dlaw and Dak. Jimmy g just set the market at I think 27 mill. Lael Collins could make the pro bowl if he has a good season but thats an if. After this and two more seasons we have to pay zeke. I think we have around 65-70 mill in cap space someone may have to walk. If you had to choose who had to walk out of four players E. Thomas, D. law, Dak, or zeke. Which three would you keep and why and the one you let walk why?

You can't talk to the player but what about his agent?

Unless one team has permission to talk to another team's player it also includes his agent. Without permission it's tampering whether a team talks to the player or his agent.

IF is a huge word as far as ET is concerned. So big, 95% of me says it won't happen

LOL.............What? Nobody is paying Thomas 15 million. And the ONLY cat that is out if we sign Thomas is Heath back to the bench.

They will have over $60 million in cap space next year and $100 million the next. They could sign all their key free agents twice with that kind of space. This topic is irrelevant.

They already granted that at the draft. I would imagine the contract is already worked out. Seattle's compensation isn't

I'll have to check in that but I don't think they have that much in two years but this is the big decision that they'd face if they traded for him. If it wasn't so this would be any easy "yes"lets trade for him

None, we can keep all 4

We barely have 7 DB’s that are are sure fire to make the team. ET would be 8.
There is no reason why anyone of those 4 would walk. TWill will be gone, and Crawford can go with him. That clears up enough cap room. DLaw May get signed to a long term contract this week too. That clears up space for next season as well.

All I ever heard or read was Seattle gave Thomas' agent permission for 48 hours to negotiate a new contract with any team that would interested in a trade but I seriously doubt anything was accomplished because if it was, that would be in the 1st paragraph of EVERY article written since then about Thomas and where he'll be playing in 2018. EVERY article would start out with Thomas and the Cowboys have already agree on a new contract and then whatever else they were going to say in that article. Not only that, EVERY talking head on TV would still be bringing that up even today yet none have said a peep about that.
