And that means his knowledge of football is beyond the average fan? That his opinion means more than your’s or mine? Did he even play football at all? Did he play after HS?

I mean it’s cool and all that his wife is on tv, that he blogs a lot, and that he has talked to a couple of players... but what was being asked in this thread is why does he know football beyond what most of the posters here know?

If he answer is that he doesn’t know more than the average Joe, then I’m wondering why people act like his opinion means anything. Not that you are, specifically.

I don’t pretend to know more than anyone else, even though I played a little college ball.

If questioning what his credentials are to explain football or critique players to anyone makes me a hater, than label me as that all you want, boss.

I just wondered why people like you think his opinion means more than anyone else’s. Certainly not jealous of anything about him. I could make videos and act like anyone cares, but I really don’t want to.

What bugs me is when casual fans start parroting his views like he knows anything about football more than the average joe. It is his opinion. That’s it. One guy’s opinion who took the time to record himself giving it.

That doesn’t mean he knows what he’s talking about, or that his opinion is worth any more than yours.

Unless you are him... in which case it is worth the same as yours, which is not much.

I don't recall him hating Romo. As to your last point, it works both ways. Sad really.

Shango made some valid points here. If everyone and their granny knocks Dak now, it could easily have a negative effect upon his performance. After all, he's only human. Not only is it not good for him but not good for the team, as well. Seems logical enough to me . . .

I remember Shango being hyper critical of Romo back in the day and saying he should be cut because we lost "win or go home games" with Tony.

I guess back then Shango didn't want the best for his "organization" because he critizised the franchize QB on a regular basis..
