Ah, a throw that people have been screaming that he unequivocally cannot make, though!!!
Id like to see a link to that, ksk.
Cant recall anyone saying he can never make a mid range pass down the sideline.

I AGREE with you that there have some irrational bashing from a sekect few posters.
But that was a fairly basic pass that even all nfl backups probably make on a daily basis in practice.

I loved seeing the play because we scored, Dak hooked up one the newbies, and it wasnt just a 5 yard swing pass....all good.

He's done this before. Not sure what the big deal is.

Link? It was here on this board, and it was said quite a bit. You can prolly look it up yourself, but I saw it, so I don't see the need.

Yeah, I'm prolly talking about the irrational bashing. I was skimming most of the Dak talk this offseason because most of it was blatantly inane and a lot of it was seriously stooopid.

Disagree that it was an easy pass to make.

Just wait and see if Scarborough can develop. He has some nasty skill. He,Zeke, and Rod Smith...all bruisers with speed. How would you all like to be the guy trying to tackle one of those dudes? lol... If our oline stays healthy and in tact all year..these backs will have a field day. Dak won't have to pass the rock more than 20 times per outing. Ball control and smash mouth.

I'm still trying to find the post where someone said it was "impossible" for Dak to throw a 30 yard TD pass down the sidelines .

The statement is made that Dak cannot throw more than 10 yds downfield.

I've seen this statement made a ton, and now I've done your homework for you lazy bums!!!!!!!!!!!

I’m pulling for Dak big time
It was pretty pass and catch

But
It was a 30 yard preseason TD...not 40
We’ve already had multiple threads on this one play

We have had 10 x as many threads stating he could not make this play and had to endure them all freakin summer so its time for something positive to get equal time.

That's what I've seen, and that's why I was shocked when asked for a link.

An average throw to a wide open receiver that any pro quarterback can make in a preseason game.

Lol
YEP ,and it was said he couldn't do it . But then again people were saying Romo was the best QB in Cowboys history so what can we really expect from some of these fans and there ability to analyze a QB.

Why try to make it Romo v Dak when it was never even a thing when they were both on the team at the same time? I don’t get it.
Yeah I don’t get the Romo vs. Dak thing. Most of the Dak haters were also Romo haters. Actually just haters in general.

Its no big deal its just a preseason game . All the normal Cowboy fans know Dak can make those throws . Since we have had to listen to the overly emotionally invested Romo group who live in denial and hatred of the fact there heros in the booth and Dak took his job spout nonsense all summer about WHERE and HOW FAR he could throw . It was just kind of fun to see it proved wrong in one fell swoop

And I am just the guy whos give a spiters broken and politically incorrect enough to call them on it . They will just have to eat the crow till Dak misses a throw and then they can attack him . Till then its great to see them stew over it .

Real Cowboy fans don't understand it . Its something developed in the Romo Legend builders coalition .LOL Guys with Barnyard scenes and ones who think Romo was the greatest in Cowboy history . They cant get past there hero is gone and have to bash Dak to make themselves feel better LOLOL Its sad these guys cant give Dak the chance to develop that Romo was given.

Yeah...I think the whole "Dak can't throw the deep ball accurately" got put to bed very fast last night. lol. You can't drop a dime better than he did. Let me say this..the rookie(Gallup) needs a nick name. I'm gonna call him silk. He glides smoothe as silk..with ease. He makes TWill look pretty bad. Hope that changes. We need TWILL to improve.

"Hot boys" & "Silk" ? I'm sensing a theme.

Maybe the bend but don't break defense can be called "Latex". Only thing left would be to sign someone named Andrew so the nickname "Freak Andy" doesn't go to waste.

Check out the guys posts with Dak in a barnyard with cows watching him throw balls over the barn. You will find evidence !!! He is going to have to revise the picture putting himself as the Jackass I mean Donkey watching Dak throw it over the barn for a perfect TD strike into Gallups hands

Exactly, I like both Romo AND Dak. I don't think either should be hated on. They were both brilliant for us in their own right.

As soon as Dak let that ball go, he just silenced all doubters! What do you think? 6y 150m$ opening offer? Can’t spell Elite without.... The E in Prescott!

not bad coverage..DAK DROPPED A DIME. You are gonna have to admit this as the season goes along, that Dak can flat out ball. Not too many QB's can drop a ball in the bread basket like that in fairly tight coverage. That's ok to doubt Dak...he will keep proving folks wrong.

Yeah he did drop that right in there. No coverage for that. Gallup scored because Ward had a spasm, but the ball was being caught either way. He threw a few like that to Dez too in '16 when he got out in front of the defender. Right at the sideline and in stride. Not an easy throw to make.
