Wonder if you watched All or Nothing last season.
It was pretty clear Cowboys as a franchise is Jones' family business first. What was Jones' doing the day before they play Seattle? In Jerrry World, they were having a Texas High School Champ game Stephen's son plays QB. It was an emotional night for Jones' family, but how much effort and focus was left for next day's Cowboys game where season is on the line? Don't tell me that's not a distraction.
They appear to be very eager to win, however deep down, it is more or less a family business. We care about this football team, but Jones care very little about fans.
The coaches are there to do their job, players went there to earn money. It is one of the best franchise to work for in NFL for them, not so much to win championship.
I’m baffled by this post. Jerry sits in an air conditioned booth high above the field and watches the Cowboy games - what effort and focus is needed for that and what effect would that have on the game? Do you really think other owners and GMs wouldn’t attend a state championship game with their son or grandson Quarterbacking one of the teams the night before their team played. Do you think they never do anything socially the night before a game?
