Wonder if you watched All or Nothing last season.

It was pretty clear Cowboys as a franchise is Jones' family business first. What was Jones' doing the day before they play Seattle? In Jerrry World, they were having a Texas High School Champ game Stephen's son plays QB. It was an emotional night for Jones' family, but how much effort and focus was left for next day's Cowboys game where season is on the line? Don't tell me that's not a distraction.

They appear to be very eager to win, however deep down, it is more or less a family business. We care about this football team, but Jones care very little about fans.

The coaches are there to do their job, players went there to earn money. It is one of the best franchise to work for in NFL for them, not so much to win championship.

I’m baffled by this post. Jerry sits in an air conditioned booth high above the field and watches the Cowboy games - what effort and focus is needed for that and what effect would that have on the game? Do you really think other owners and GMs wouldn’t attend a state championship game with their son or grandson Quarterbacking one of the teams the night before their team played. Do you think they never do anything socially the night before a game?

Agree.

Dallas is on par with them talent wise.

Even if Philly is better it's not by much.

All of these rosters are just about the same but coaching and QB play are so critical.
coaching and qb play is what is the difference in the winners and losers in the nfl today

A big difference between Cowboys and Eagles is the Eagles traded up for Cox who is a beast in the middle while the Cowboys traded up for Mo who is not even on the team. Cox and the Eagles D got to Ryan last night.

It's too soon to judge Garrett's process. At least let them get some receivers, TEs, DTs, Safeties, Backup QB and make sure that they've filled the holes at LB and CB before passing judgment.

Carson Wentz, Michael Bennett, Fletcher Cox, Malcolm Jenkins, Lane Johnson, Jay Ajayi, Alshon Jeffery, Zach Ertz & Derek Barnett are outstanding players and would be welcomed on any team.
Ok?

Putting aside the fact that Bennett and Ajayi were both out of favor with their previous teams, you can make a list like this for every team in the NFL.

Eagle process involves low tv ratings.
I wasn't aware of this but AT&T set-top boxes are now factored into the Nielsen ratings. It used to be only a small group of people with specialized equipment were used in the ratings. So now my viewing contributes to ratings (since 2017) and I can choose to opt out by going to DirecTV and updating my account settings. I missed that news last year.

:lmao::facepalm:

Your name should be Rubberman the way you contort yourself to make excuses for Garrett and Jerry
What does an Eagles championship have to do with the Cowboy's as opposed to the other 30 teams that didn't win. Clearly, you are unfamiliar with my posts.

Me? A Jerry Jones apologist? I have been his most consistent critic.

I'm saying that the Eagles have had great teams.....that utterly failed in their championship runs. It was only a matter of time and the odds that they would finally get one. They should have gotten more so they haven't mastered anything.

Eagles have been to 5 NFC Championship games since 2001.

We have been to 0 since 1995.

The Eagles' process didn't look all that great last night.

Yet two years ago it's Garrett going for it on 4th and one in OT against Philly. It's Garrett's team running a fake punt from inside their own 30 at Oakland last year. Pederson is more aggressive than Garrett ... Garrett does have clock management issues ... but Pederson is the same dufus who by all accounts screwed up their 2017 season.
That "dufus" learned from his mistakes all the way to the Super Bowl. Our doofus (correct spelling) doesn't learn ****.

Pederson is not a good coach. This season will be proof of that.
Garrett loses that game last night. I would trade coaches and staff right now with the Eagles. Missing a starting LB, QB, and WR, they played poorly and still found a way to win. Wins is all that matter at the end of the day.

Their is no comparison ... the eagles have a competent GM and Coach ... we have beavis and butthead...

Philly has the same GM that was with the team when it was going 4-12, 7-9 twice, and 8-8. In his time as GM (2010 to the present) he has just 1 more regular season win than the Cowboys do over the same period.
