I still think Jerry will extend Dak to an extension this year.

Good news is maybe it won’t be over 100 million and any longer than 3 or 4 years.

Cheapass Stephen will sell it like we negotiated well. Lol

Can’t establish a run game when you are so predictable your average twitter user can predict the plays.

Run on 1st for short gain? Pass on 2nd.

Incomplete pass/short pass on 1st? Run on 2nd.

Get behind? Pass, pass, pass.

That junk isn’t going to work when they play a good defense that can stop the run they know is coming which will probably be a theme with Williams and Looney manning the middle for a while.
And not to mention continuing to run that stupid draw/delay run that consistently picks up 1 yard.

Dude just Stop , The last time Romo played the Panthers He got pick 6ed twice and threw back to back INTs , then got knocked out of the game .
We had a total of 6 points when he left . Build the legend in your Diary not here LOLOL
You mean when he tried to save our season with a broken collar bone?

Just give it up. Dak sucks.

What's troubling is I think Dak is at his best when rolling out or after escaping the pocket after it breakdown.

Problem is you can't have prolonged success as QB if those are your strengths.
I think the reason why he's having success with that is because of how poor this offense is. These guys can't get open and these route trees suck. So he has to buy time with his legs or pray the offensive line holds up so someone can get free. That's where Romo excelled too. Let's remember that this offense wasn't that great with Romo until he would escape and freestyle. IT wasn't because he had a great offensive play written up for him.

They are not happy with the loss. They are never happy with losing. They are human. Is the path they think how the franchise will eventually win and win consistently different from what you, me or other fans envision? Yes. And that's the thing.

Well Garrett has been here 9 years and has jack to show for it...………..maybe they need to rethink the path they are on

Just saying.

Again i'm sitting here watching trubitsky make elite type throws in his second year that i'm not sure dak is capable of making. Mahomes the same today. I'm watching brees, eli and brady in their older age make deep throws i again ask myself "can dak make"

Its concerning he isn't getting better. It really is. Long season but if we get to week 8 and this is still going on its time to think about next year. Its time to think about getting serious about a replacement.

I'd like to see if he can make all the throws before extending him.

Well maybe after we're eliminated. I wanted Cooper Rush to play late last year too so I guess it doesn't make a difference.
Exactly, you got nothing to lose. Just see what you got,and head into the draft. I think Garrett and Linehan better start worrying about their jobs now though. This is getting old.

In defense of the line, Cam was getting pressured pretty good to. But he stood in the pocket and made some throws. Dak refuses to stand in the pocket.

True. I think he was shaken. I saw him take hits after throws. Knowing you going to get regardless isn't a good feel.

I think even in a loss if the offense improves they still got a chance. It’s really an ugly looking offense right now though. Boy do they got things to resolve. My gosh...and I thought the gas I had last night was bad. These guys today? Allll windows and doors open stinky.
We aren’t winning @ Seattle buddy. Lose next week and it’s 0-3.

Dak fan here .. but the disturbing things for me:
1- Accuracy does not seem to be better ... A lot of short throws
2- No long/deep throws .. not even one attempt .. of course we know the outcome of such attempt..but not even once
3- Dak kept telling us he knows he is getting better this year ... huh? ... Dude!!!

My mind is pulling one foot off the wagon now .. one game I know and still rooting for Dak .. but after a long off season we get this?

Daks accuracy on intermediate and deep throws has dropped sharply. Pocket poise has been compromised. Hyper aware of pressure around him and lacks awareness to slide and find temporary shelter to make throw. Concern over pressure too often trumps ability to get through progressions. Must speed up the pace of his reads. Footwork is a mess. Slight stride onto stiff upper leg with little weight shift. Restricted follow through and too often tries to muscle throws with upper body. Throws to target rather than leading or throwing them open on short/intermediate throws. Too respectful of underneath coverage and must be more willing to challenge the defense. Needs to improve anticipation.

I could be wrong, but I think most people are still rooting for Dak. But rooting doesn't change the level of his play. It needs to be dramatically better, and all of the positive thoughts in the world aren't going to fix his issues.

 He was playing a second game in 5 days with a broken collarbone against a much better panthers defense. Apples to oranges.

as a Dak fan what is really concerning are the same accuracy struggles as last year.
last season...the league adjusted to him....this off season,it was on him to counter.
1 game in.....blah.
Im not giving up after 1 game but this wasnt what I was expecting....at all.
If you cant be accurate, what the hell is the point.
If you cant score, you cant win.
