The Dak sucks thread **merged**

I think the reason why he's having success with that is because of how poor this offense is. These guys can't get open and these route trees suck. So he has to buy time with his legs or pray the offensive line holds up so someone can get free. That's where Romo excelled too. Let's remember that this offense wasn't that great with Romo until he would escape and freestyle. IT wasn't because he had a great offensive play written up for him.
They're trying to call what Dak can do. He just can't do much.

Romo excelled from the pocket. Dak does not.

Receivers are plenty open, but you have to throw before the break, not after. This is the NFL, not the SEC. The route trees are the same for all 32 teams.

I could be wrong, but I think most people are still rooting for Dak. But rooting doesn't change the level of his play. It needs to be dramatically better, and all of the positive thoughts in the world aren't going to fix his issues.

Unfortunately.... this seem to be the case .. I hope I am wrong .. but today?

Can’t establish a run game when you are so predictable your average twitter user can predict the plays.

Run on 1st for short gain? Pass on 2nd.

Incomplete pass/short pass on 1st? Run on 2nd.

Get behind? Pass, pass, pass.

That junk isn’t going to work when they play a good defense that can stop the run they know is coming which will probably be a theme with Williams and Looney manning the middle for a while.
I guess it’s the chicken and egg argument.

The mark of a solid offense/scheme...

And we just played a good defense. And got our **** pushed in.

Well, I’m not gonna lie or try to shift blame. That was a really bad performance.

He gets the rest of this season to figure it out. Or it’s
Over and draft a QB high in the off season.

That was bad.

He was really bad on that play where Zeke whiffed on the sack for 7 yards and ruined that one drive.

At least by holding Dak out of almost all the preseason games, save a handful of series, he’s healthy.

Too bad the trade-off is, he’s now got little or no game chemistry with the new WRs and TEs.

Romo also had Dez and Witten in their prime......Dak has......Terrence Williams in his.

They treat him like he's a 12 year veteran who's seen it all and they are trying to prolong his career. Do they not realize that he's going into this third year and maybe needs live reps? But it's the same thinking (arrogance) that leaves us with rookies and second year players behind Dak - he doesn't need experience, he doesn't need an experienced QB around him, he's just that magical.

You mean when he tried to save our season with a broken collar bone?

Just give it up. Dak sucks.
If that performance was supposed to save our season we were in real trouble LOL Dak didn't just try he saved our season after your hero ran like an idiot in a preseason game after surgery .

Dak is a good guy but he is just not any good. He cant throw the ball downfield with any consistent accuracy. He is so so easy to defend. I truly believe its why everyone thinks out offense is so vanilla. They dont have many options. Dak just is not that good. Period. Stop with the excuses. Dak cannot throw the ball downfield at all.

open receivers? film dont lie.

& how did garrett do with a pro-bowler like Tony Romo.

Did we even make the playoffs ? ... cant remember, maybe you geniuses blaming Dak for Garrett's mistakes can explain .

Dak had Dez, too, but he can't throw back shoulders or high points, so it's a waste of money.

Dak can't throw to wide receivers. He throws to slot guys, tight ends, and running backs.

Dak is woefully inaccurate.
Dak had a past his prime broken down Dez. Let's don't confuse what he had with what Romo had. He throws to tight ends, slot guys and running backs...you mean they few guys that are open? LOL.

open receivers? film dont lie.

WIDE OPEN receivers if you know where to throw the ball.

Dak can't see them because he's too busy running out of the back of the pocket like Stephen McGee. You have to step up in the pocket and keep your eyes upfield.

He looked scared and confused.

Ill preface this by saying I have a strong hatred for Jason Garrett

How can anyone watch this guy and think hes a franchise QB? Yes the scheme sucks and his weapons suck but his weakneses are clear as day.

His accuracy sucks

His mechanics suck

He doesnt anticipate throws

Refuses to take chances

Cant throw receivers open

I know most dont want to hear this but The best thing that can happen to this franchise is he has another season like last year and we go 5-11. Lets start over with a new coach and high draft pick that we can use on a QB

Anyhow we pay this guy, this franchise will be set back a decade
