Bro I know it’s hard to come to grips with, but if we had a QB playing at a high level this wouldn’t even be a question. No way in heck am I gonna stand here and call this oline anything knowing the type of production the QB is giving this team. I understand players aren’t playing at all pro levels but...damn

Yes. It's all the QB. The Oline is playing lights out. Oh.. & the OC is the best we've ever had. oh.. & our QB coach is an incredible mentor.

I disagree. They're not playing as a "good" unit right now.
I did not say they were PLAYING good, i said they were a good unit. The point of your post is should we rebuild the OL. I do not feel that is the priority on this team, the paucity of QB play is the most pressing position of need and i feel most people who watch this team would agree.

Disagree...

The pressing need rt now is:

Get Connor Williams out of the Guard position where he is getting shoved around by DTs and on the outside where he belongs. ASAP.. Swap him and La'el yesterday.

How about for starters, swapping the positions that Collins and Williams play? Each would be then playing their natural position on the OL. But I forgot, that would actually take a competent coaching staff to make this change.

Unfortunately, our coaching staff doesn't have the intestinal fortitude to make that move ASAP.

Wow... Get out of my head.... That's an immediate move that will improve the OL.

Fine if you think that will help. I don't think tinkering with the OL will turn this team into a Superbowl contender. I do however feel that having a QB who can read defences and make plays might be of more use.
I know it's a crazy idea but what the heck.

Absolutely not.

We've sunk resources into it and now we can't just break it down and start over.

Tyron and La'el need to step their games up.

What we need to do is get the pass game going. Run some hurry up and get the offense in a flow and take some shots downfield even if the player is covered.
We need speedy play makers. You can't win in this league with a bunch of 2s and 3s at receiver. Draft, trade or sign , just get one!!!

No, just tweak it. And wait and see if Frederick returns.

OL can’t be that bad with leading rusher in league. Bigger issue at QB.

Hey. I respect yours and the opinions of everyone else that feels the need to zero in on the QB. I choose take a more expanded view and evaluate the numbers of factors around said QB. So, right now, that swap between Wiliams and Collins will indeed improve our Oline.

Connor moves to his more natural position and the one he will most likely play for a long time in the NFL and La'el ensures the bull rushes from the QB's blind side no longer happen.

Teams do it..

Not a lot of top tier WR's winning championships.

It usually a bunch of 2's and 3's with great coaching and QB play.

We have coaching littered with tendencies and a QB that is struggling. That's our problem.

Rebuild doesn't mean get em in the 1st & 2nd rounds.... Many a longstanding NFL offensive linemen have been taken in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th rounds. It's the commitment tot get them. Develop them. etc etc. Use 1 and 2 for skill position needs.

I'd they had the ability to develop talent from the later rounds, they wouldn't have had to spend so many high round picks on the OL over the past 7 years and still have almost no depth on the OL.

Yeah. I just posted the article for the sake of discussion but I'm all over the tweak vs rebuild mindset. That one tweak will help. Then, in the next draft, you get a LT that you can develop in the 3rd round.

Chaz Green really hurt them in terms of confidence in finding quality in the middle rounds. But I trust Steven and Willie. They do draft well.
