Dez isn’t playing for a reason. He’s not any good anymore except for drama and locker room cancer.

He probably would be back if he controlled his temper on twitter/going off on everyone.

would depend on what he wants to be paid, and if he would do a 1 season contract, or maybe this one and next year if the price is right.
I dont think he is all that good anymore, but on a good day he could out do the guys we have now.
He may even have a few great games.
he is humbled now , so he would probably try harder than before.

So we cut out the "cancer", and the passing offense still sucks. Maybe that tumor was benign and really not the source of the disease.

Doesn't need one to be better than the bums we have out there at WR. However, if he could go snatch Romo out of 2014 and bring him with him that would terrific.
If he snatched Romo now it would be better. Romo might be the best QB other than Marino to not have won a SB.

I will grant you that Dallas holds all the cards and all the leverage with Dez, and that realistically if Dez could be controlled and effective, that this is probably as good of a situation as the team could ask for.

On the other hand Dez was a perpetual problem, and consistently underachieved and would pose a locker room problem for the team. Why would a team do that to itself?

I personally think that ship has sailed. Then again, never say never with the Cowboys. Everyone would be talking about it.

If winning is your goal, then don't bring him back for any price. If making money is your goal and winning is irrelevant, then I would say there is some chance he could return.
You make it black and white.

I think its various shades of gray.

the team has made its statement..

Dez has done his..

Now both parties are wounded and neither has found an answer.

To me its about the whole team..

not just Dez like you say.

But if you are trying to put the best team on the field..

so far we are underachieving with the WRs.

Time to take a chance to help ourselves.

We missed the boat with Earl Thomas for now.

Do a deal with Dez he can achieve and make his money back if he performs.

That's all I want.

I want to win.

Pride is not an issue and should not be with his teammates.

Winning has a tendency to overlook things if necessary.

I think Dez in Dallas is necessary.

Dez Bryant can still play, this narrative that he can't is just foolishness. So he leaves and I guess the whole receiving core takes off numbers out the roof, let's just face it the quarterback is just not a good passer at this time no one in this league would do well on the Cowboys right now.

I’m sure he does. Maybe he shouldn’t have ditched his agent for Jay-Z? Yeah he sure got his money, but it’s been all downhill ever since he did that. I’d rather Dallas not bring him back. If Jerry had a meeting with him,and he heard whatever he needed to hear to finally decide it was best to part ways? That’s enough for me. I mean Jerry was the last holdout and stood by him to the very end. I got to assume Dez gave him no other choice.
