There now exists enough leverage to take him back.

It is likely they would bring him back on a one year deal with incentives.

25 percent of the season is gone.

I have no problem with him being back.

I will grant you that Dallas holds all the cards and all the leverage with Dez, and that realistically if Dez could be controlled and effective, that this is probably as good of a situation as the team could ask for.

On the other hand Dez was a perpetual problem, and consistently underachieved and would pose a locker room problem for the team. Why would a team do that to itself?

I personally think that ship has sailed. Then again, never say never with the Cowboys. Everyone would be talking about it.

If winning is your goal, then don't bring him back for any price. If making money is your goal and winning is irrelevant, then I would say there is some chance he could return.

You fans always blast the front office for not bringing in players to make us better......Earl Thomas and josh Gordon, as examples. Don’t tell me Dez is much better than any wr that we have. Dez got blamed for a crappy qb, and I’ve been saying it for weeks now, jerry rice would be JAG if he was on our current team.

You have me confused with someone else. Lol. I was against the ET trade. Dez still sucks. I wouldn't bring dez back for any amount of money. I think you meant to say "don't tell me".

Dez isn't better than anyone on the roster if you factor in the negativity. Hard pass on Dez for me.

Wonder what Fredrick and "Snake" Lee think about this
Not to mention McClay who justified his being released to the media. Has he gotten better at routes and separation since he was released?

What the hell, bring him back and give all the folks listening to MNF a break and talk Witten out of retirement.

Honestly, could the WR corps be any worse with him back? If they've got the $, what's to lose if he comes back sans attitude?

I love Dez,he was my favorite cowboy, and I do not think he has drastically lost his abilities, but I do not think he will make much of a difference, remember, we still have dak, the wr killer throwing balls.

Why didn't any teams pick up Dez? I don't think teams fear his off field stuff or sideline antics. I think that they think he's just not that good or maybe they think he wouldn't know the plays without special attention from a teammate after the huddle breaks. Is that why he wants to come back to Dallas where he can be pampered? Seriously though if he was good some team would have made him a deal with any side help that he needs to function, but they are not giving him that and he's not signing anywhere yet.

Dez may never play in a NFL regular season game again.

Issues in the last Coker room? Don’t we already have that? Didn’t Hurns and Beasley basically say dak sucks ? But Hurns is the new guy, so he gets a pass... but what about Beasley? Is he causing “trouble,” for saying what we already know?
I'm really not sure what you are trying to get at - Hurns and Beasley have nothing to with this. I made a simple statement: I think its a good idea to bring in Dez cheap, and if issues arise in the lockeroom as a result, you get rid of him. Simple as that.

No, they wouldn't. That was the issue last year. Dez was not beating single, man coverage.
So, Opposing defenses are up late at night wondering how they can stop Zeke, and possibly Dak. But,, Hurns? Beasely? Gallup? Swaim?

Really? I get that Dez wasn't good last season. What is sad is that he is still better than what they have right now. When Zeke becomes your main WR., There's a problem.

Umm no. Not like Brown. Keep trying to justify Bryant's antics.
Justify? No justify, just saying it’s no big deal. Did Dez have “antics,” when he was leading the nfl in td receptions? Or only in 2015 and 2017?

How would the cowboys possibly make more money b bringing Dez back? You think attendance would go up? I don’t. More jersey sells? Nah
