Not even the biggest fan of Rodgers but the reason why the Packers lost that game was because of Crosby. Crosby does his job there is a chance the Packers win that game and not have as much points to try and come back from when they were down.

I absolutley love this, it's everybody's fault except the guy who touches the ball on every play and throws all the passes

It's kinda like watching one of these huge college marching bands where everyone turns right and this one tuba player turns left but he tries to explain that it's was the other 350 people that turned wrong not him. Lol

Now it's a conspiracy to keep his contract lower...good lord. People have their livelihoods on the line here, and not just the players. You really think Garrett and Linehan would go along with this plan knowing it also opens up the door for Jerry to kick them to the curb. What about the assistant coaches under them? You don't think this would have leaked out through the media? Come on...I know you guys are desperate to cling to any other possible scenario other than Dak just isn't very good, but this stuff is ridiculous!

Yes because you all claimed Dak stated he was elite and did not need a #1 WR. Dak screwed his own wallet.

Maybe JG, SL, and the WR coach also stated their scheme will be effective with #3s-#5s WRs.

So the FO put all of their words to the test by downgrading the WRs.

The fans are angry because they believed Rodgers should have had 2 more TDs if he made the proper reads and throws...

They did not want the kicker kicking FGs.

A lot of Aikman haters stated that Aikman should not get into the HOF due to his regular season passing stats.

A lot of Tony Romo fans are stating he should get into the HOF due to his regular season passing stats.
Link?

Seems like the talent drop off around dak could be intentional in order to attempt a cheap re-signing because of subpar stats...if Dak was putting up 2016 numbers how high would his market price be?

I used to play cards against a trash talker that would say "I'm going to beat you so bad that you're going to think I'm cheating". So Dak is playing so bad you think that it must be sabotage? Lol

He is playing bad because he is not an elite QB and his WRs/TEs are not elite as well.

Thus, upgrade the talent around Dak since we already have Zeke and the OL... and cannot afford all of this if we also have to pay an elite QB $25M-$30M+ each year.

No I'm just saying that if you knew you would have to pay top market value for a QB, this FO has a habit of running away from paying its top performers...ie Demarco Murray.

This would be the case if the QB receiving too much blame. Not every trip to the redzone can end in a TD. The kickers still have to do their job and make FGs that's "easy" for most NFL kickers to make. If the Packers game against the Lions was tied and Rodgers got them into FG range and Crosby missed then it's on him.

Crosby and the Packers D are more to blame for that game over Rodgers, even if he didn't play perfect he did enough to win if those FGs were made. I understand you defending Dak, but am just saying anyone breaking down Rodger's mistake and acting like it was the main reason for the Packers losing is wrong. IMO

For the Dak haters and individuals who want the Cowboys to change QBs...

Even the great Aaron Rodgers is getting called out for:

-poor mechanics
-not seeing the field
-bad reads
-missing open targets
-sailing passes over open targets
-holding ball way too long
-turnovers... fumbles at the worst times

There is no perfect QB... Instead build a complete team with minimal weaknesses.

See below for a sample of criticism Aaron Rodgers is facing.

Missed another wide open target for TD. The Packers missed the FG.

Missed 3 wide open targets. Instead checked down to target with no chance to make a play.

Throws pass too high for a 6’7” TE

Greg Jennings calling out Aaron Rodgers

For missing open targets

“A big factor for this issue could be a lack of trust from Rodgers. Whether it’s from not trusting his wide receivers because of limited practice time or it is because he doesn’t trust what he is seeing in McCarthy’s play calling scheme, it is an area that needs to improve.”

For sailing passes and not setting his feet

“Given Rodgers’ school yard style of play at times, he doesn’t always set his feet as he throws and will throw the ball from awkward arm angles. Both of these characteristics will diminish any quarterback’s accuracy, including Aaron Rodgers.

Against the Lions this past Sunday, Rodgers had a clean pocket to throw from and had plenty of space to step forward into the throw. Despite this, he never set his feet and proceeded to overthrow his six-foot-seven tight end Jimmy Graham, for what should have been an easy touchdown pass.”

Rodgers going off-script

“What makes Aaron Rodgers so special is his ability to create when a play is broken down. This often leads to Rodgers making some sort of spectacular play. While this is a key part to his game and has given the Packers a lot of success, it is Rodgers’ weakness as well.

It is not uncommon for Rodgers to pass up an easy completion to an open receiver because he doesn’t like what he sees or because he thinks there is a bigger play potentially developing down the field.”

A fan’s comment

“Article is correct. Rodgers is not seeing the field at all and his reads. He's holding the ball way too long. Dump it or have a safety valve, not all receivers in one spot down the fiels; live for another play and NO FUMBLES for christ sake. Rodgers deserves as much blame as do the others on the same capers, I mean pertine defense! High drafts on defense, no pass rush again this year, and wide open, OPEN receivers. Why do our receivers struggle to get separation when no names from other teams do? Simple: MM non schemes”.

Great post....

Yes but they are paying Rodgers $33.5M a season and expect more since the Packers lost.

I do not like putting all of the blame and pressure on the QB... even elite ones like AR...

Within the salary cap if feasible, I would like for another top talent on offense to help Rodgers out.

So wait.

The Cowboys screwed with an entire season just so they could sign Dak cheaper when he underperformed?

Demarco was a product of the oline and I'm glad that they didn't pay him. Are you calling Dak a top performer? This qb is just bad.

You have to admit he would have been difficult to afford if he continued to put up 2016 numbers given the improvements on Defense and the contracts also coming due on the O line...and Zeke...Zeke is going to get expensive too...
