Quincy threw great bombs to glen and Galloway but he had no timing he could not throw to a spot just like dak.
We had no Glenn's or Galloway's on the team. We had scrubs, hopefully Cooper changes this.

You’re a moron
Yer' obviously the ant burning/ magnifying glass & back woods road to the Jeffrey Dahmer type class,,,EH?,,,actually BRO!!! Just what. Was the forever verified point in jamming yer' viewed blurted opine ride herd mentality of exhibited stupidity of yer' post supposed to accomplish? ,,,seriously man?,,,so you can flex yer' lame cyber superiority over something or someone you deem less than yer' selfs elevated status?
It's a shame in the fact that I think I recall some of yer' forum input& then you gotta' go and pull on a pair of weaselnutt girly panties befitting of yer' focused & directed intentionally disparaging remark cuz' you don't cotton to a former COWBOYS Q.B. That another of yer' fellow forum members happens to have taken a shine to& recalls enjoying the time he got to see him play in that day! ,,,,it's pretty doggone clear to me this " yer' a moron" label you'd cast was out of envy& petty jealousy cuz' the DUDE posted up a fun little fandango dust up foraee on a bored bye weekend & it in grandiose fashion, it eclipses yer' greatest combined contributions,,,huh? ,,,ain't that right Mr. Takes one to know one SPORTS-FAN:rolleyes:

* ain't no way I'm putting you on ignore & scampering off,,,oh, no,BRO! that ain't me & if you step back& upon honest inward reflection of yer' overt action? eventually you'll know that it ain't you either,,, er,,,god willing& hungry hogs& house cats don't devour yer lips& genetalia in yer' sleep of course:thumbup:

in terms of pure talent at QB in Boys history

1 White - IMO, the best passer in Boys history by far and the second best runner, could make any throw with incredible touch, put up monster points with great targets and a busted OL, the smartest too, and a top notch punter - it's disgrace he's not in the HOF
the other 4 QBs below played behind great OLs (at least for some of their career) Danny never had better than average

2 Meredith - arguably the best deep passer in history, plus willing and able to run over LBs (we forget one of he best athletes to ever play QB)
I think his 5.8% career TD% is 3rd behind only ***Otto Graham's 6.9 (see below) and Aaron Rodgers at 6.3 * and did it in a far less passing friendly era of rules

compare vs Troy at 3.5, Dak 4.6, Rodger 5.2, Danny 5.3, and Tony 5.7
- Elway 4.1, Plunkett 4.4, Namath 4.6, Star 4.8, Marino 5.0, Stabler 5.1, Montana 5.1, Warner 5.1, Brees 5.3, Bradshaw 5.4, Brady 5.6, Manning 5.7

3 Prescott - despite goofy short touch, Dak is tied with Brady for the lowest career INT% at an amazing 1.8%, (1.9 this year so far, despite the 3rd most sacks)
and most of his rare INTs came off the hands of his targets - despite the notions of his haters he makes far fewer mental errors than any of the other 4 on this list
don't under estimate the kid - remember this, when sacked 3 or less time a game he wins 80% of games and he's our best running QB ever

4 Staubach - with a stronger arm Rodger would have had another 10 TDs a season, the best leader, heart matters, he could will a team to victory

5 Aikman - not a great runner (like the 4 above), IMO not super bright, but maybe the best mid range passer ever, his demeanor inspired confidence

an honorable mention to Romo for finding ways to make plays, way under rated due to a lack of playoff wins
for anyone who didn't realize it - Romo is one of the best deep passers ever, and never seemed out of a game

Quincy don't make the list but, he could throw the ball a country mile

*** BTW, Otto Graham was the best player ever, not Jim Brown or Jerry Rice or Bob Lily, and Brady ain't close

his career stats are stunning - the best W/L ever 81%, best YPA ever 9.0, the best TD% ever 6.9, 7x first team all pro, and won 8 titles in 10 years
those are real numbers

he was also a first team NCAA basket ball player (point guard), the first athlete ever on a Wheaties box
and the most dominant team athlete ever in any major pro sport (LeBron included)

and Dak didn't have the best rookie QBR ever at 104 - Otto did at 112

Who won that game at NYG in 03 that went into overtime? That was a hell of a throw by Carter and kick by Cundiff!

I’ve seen this pic referenced a lot during the years.

What’s exactly wrong with it?

I'm not going to read through this entire thread, but IMO there is no comparison between Dak and Quincy. Carter was just a bad QB. With Dak I still to this day reserve hope he turns it around with better OL play and WRs. With Quincy I never had a favorable opinion of him.

It's pretty widely known that if Carter didn't have his off the field drug problem, he probably doesn't get cut and Romo would not have been kept on the roster

I wonder if Romo ever personally thanked the drug dealer who sold Quincy his blow?

Quincy was very bad. Good chance Romo would've beat him out anyway.

Tuna knew how to get the most out of a QB. W/ Quincy, we ran a lot and minimized how much he threw the ball.

I'm pretty sure in that Five Points Blue episode about Carter and Romo a couple of years back that they flat out said Romo doesn't make the team if Carter doesn't get caught for drugs

Totally agree with your assessment of Parcells coaching ability with regards to quarterbacks. The guy won a Super Bowl with Jeff Hostetler for Pete sakes. Nuff said

Dak has that same arm, he just wont throw the ball when a defender is that close.
It is probably the anticipation thing that Dak lacks, if he would trust it he could be ok.
How much you wanna make a bet Dak can throw a football over them mountains?
