I also noticed you didn't mention that Dak Prescott actually had 8 dropped interceptions last year, two more than Carson Wentz and tied for 2nd most dropped int in the league

I disagree. Had Dak thrown a pick the entire game would have changed.

He did throw one. Right in the hands of the linebacker who had a clear path to the end zone. Just because it was dropped doesn't excuse it.

I think if you're grading fairly then you have to acknowledge the dropped interception.

But for fun, let's also acknowledge that Nick Foles has a better winning percentage on the season than Wentz.

Dak, kicked it up a notch once he realized the OL was holding the trenches longer. Got more comfortable with himself and giving the ball to zeke. As for a dual, I'd say Wentz and Dak went par to par.

Both Wentz and Dak played great this game.. just like the score they both played evenly great. But Wentz is a better overall QB than Dak is by a mile and it'll show that in years to come. I don't see Dak fixing his flaws if he can't look at more than 1 receiver per play and stop panicking every time he has the ball.

This is laughable. And you think the Cowboys are the same team? I like Dak but in know way do I think he's awful like some of you Dak haters think. When some of you say he's awful...I raise an eyebrow. Does he have flaws? Of course. Awful? Not at all. You get this guy an experienced QB Coach and a competent OC that can calls plays and you can see a better Dak. He had a few bad games starting with the Atlanta game last year. Before that, he was good. His last 6 games, he was good. Not superstar status but good. But awful?

I don't understand some folks. Dak played OK yesterday but he was more of a bus driver and Zeke and the D carried the day. Dak had something like 10 yards passing in the 3rd quarter and 100 for the second half and Philly was missing most of it's starting CB's. Is this really a guy we want to give a $100 million dollar contract to? He just doesn't see the field and I could see if this was his first year, but we should be seeing more from a (potential) franchise QB. We should be looking to upgrade the position.

And for those that say we can win with a "bus driver" I'd ask, why should we have to?

First of all, Dak didn't play Wentz, he played the Eagles defense. Comparing one quarterback to another is like saying a baseball pitcher out pitched the other team's pitcher because the "losing" pitcher's team didn't score a run but the "winning" pitcher's team got 1 run because an easy throw to first base for an out was flubbed, then the throw to second was flubbed and the batter got home because of the bad throws. The "losing" pitcher isn't responsible for his own team not getting any hits.

But in any case, comparing stats, both hit 72% of their passes, Wentz's ypa was better, Wentz had 2 td passes to 1 for Dak, but Wentz had an int but Dak didn't (though could easily have been).

To me it's a wash, too close to really say one was "better"...

Dak had 2 TDs one passing and one rushing, why discount his rushing TD? Last I looked they both count for 6 points. Wentz had a couple chances to makes plays in the clutch and couldn't, but Dak did.

Because if that's the best that can be obtained, the that's what we need to do. We're never going to have the perfect team. Go get a high dollar QB and there will be some other weakness that has to be overcome. It's just that there will be an excuse for why we can't win with the high dollar QB.
